Eh, whatever, I'm still in - and I had a new beer tonight .....

Clear golden color with a frothy light tan head after an aggressive pour, this is a gorgeous beer. Dank citrus notes on the nose, and some berries as well. Love the Mosaic hop.

The taste is dank citrus flavors and some berries and pepper as well, again courtesy of the Mosaic/Amarillo hop combo. This is a really nice offering from an iconic brewery that, to be honest, I can’t believe has evaded me until now.

Really well done by NB.

Thanks for the reminder @Bum4ever, I'll get back on topic with a new brew. Red and Black from Southern Brewing just up the road from me, it's a lesser know Athens brewery that puts out some pretty good beers.
Light tartness, nice berries, refreshing. 4.25/5

If there was a merger that you are in seek of, there would be no need for this new thread, because it wouldn't be based on New Brew Thursdays...



And if this merger you are in seek of did not happen, most certainly this thread would be valid. Again, this is Thursday, not Sunday.

No, three new brews, three different Thursday’s in a month.

Nose is roasted malts for days with a hint of barrel treatment.

Taste is slightly sweet roasted malts that linger forever.

Feel is medium bodied and slick . No sign of the abv at all.

Overall a well done imperial porter . 4.25 out of 5 from me.

 

Nope, it says "beer" singular. Same beer three times. Hopefully NBT here doesn't follow the same rule. If there are no rules, that would work best.

 

So by your logic we can also have New Beer Tuesdays, New Beer Wednesdays and ect...., as long as we are posting on the current day in question ?

hi, pot. Yes, this is the kettle. You’re black.

 

New beer number 2 for me tonight:



L: Dark black and a decent amount of tan head that fades quickly
S: Get a bunch of sweetness on the nose, vanilla and maple. Coffee follows really strong and then the cinnamon.
T: I get a little of everything in there. Coffee is the strongest, followed by maple, cinnamon and vanilla is the slightest towards the finish.
F: Decent thickness and a good dry finish.
O: This is an excellent beer. Flavors meld together nicely and nothing overpowers.

 

You’re being too literal. I didn’t get this far not knowing the rules.
