From what it seemed it was local only, but now I need to look into it.
Yeah it seems like this ramped up the process for Burial but it was something they were leaning towards anyway. It said on their site its going to be onsite releases still, then shipping what is available after that. I like it, it seems like it can work really well. It will lower "trade value" but I will still trade with friends anyway b/c I will always want a mix of things versus full 4 packs and I never look to trade on "secondary" costs because I think its dumb.

well, looks like new york is gonna shut down for next week... definitely going to mess with supply lines i assume.

would be dope if they got the okay to just mass ship out their beer as to not have cans sitting for however long they may have to sit.

Bars (take-out) are exempt...for some reason.

this is old, new one isn't on site yet.

given that there will be fines handed out to businesses that do not comply. Gotta wonder if the "brewery" still falls under "essential". wonder if they'll begin making a distinction of places that serve food vs. places that only sell alcohol.

for context i meant that as "they're definitely not essential and should be closed given the guidelines handed out"

not "golly jee i hope i can still get my alcohol juice"

Sad. True. But also if any restaurant can be open for take away then they should be just as able.

wouldnt it make sense for OH to just partner with a few breweries to pass through for sales

Nah man, alcohol is definitely essential to living in NYC, and doubly so under quarantine.

i don’t have a super strong opinion, but a restaurant could be said to be providing food in situations where it may otherwise be(come) scarce or tricky to come by. So it’s a win win - they provide a potentially valuable service and still stay in business. Don’t get me wrong I fully subscribe to the @SeanEDPBK line of thinking, but beer is probably secondary.

Simple. Rotate beer bottle 180 degrees from its upright position after opening.

In all seriousness though, I typically try to stomach my way through a bad beer especially when its one that was more so on the expensive side but that BA SB3VIP was completely undrinkable. With the amount of sugar in that thing I would have been better off doing a line of cocaine.

I am of Irish descent and just flung 3/4 of a can of DDH ACE into the grass in my backyard. Pains me as I love this beer but this batch is not good at all.

Damn I got heavy respect for @jrnyc "Haze Gramps" crusade against subpar OH. It's fucking real y'all- this outfit has its most devoted adherents trained proper on that consistent fire, and when their lighters' flame dims we gotta speak up!

I forget who I promised earlier (too lazy to scroll back) but having that Triple Cream now and it's very nice, as good a I remember but admittedly I think its been over a year (a couple batches) since I last had it. It's still a great TIPA.

And though I'm not getting any I want to shout out love for Green City which in the past year has been one of the nicest IPA's that's too easy to find on tap at restaurants and random bars around NYC. It's an underappreciated beer they put out and ought to be their NYC exclusive when they eventually go global.

I um drank my 3rd can of ACE earlier tonight and um it was fine. For me. Not the best beer I’ve ever had but nothing in particular was wrong with it.

Eons of refining my palate to taste even the slightest of ACE imperfections, long before most of you whippersnappers were born.
