I hope I’m not included in this list doc! Cos I love levelling some criticism at these guys when deserved. But IMO:

    1) they are trying to do something worthwhile with this collab thing

    2) I don’t think they should be held to a different standard than any other local brewery because we think - without any actual evidence - that they make the most money. Even if we did know this, why does it rest solely on OH’s shoulders? Why is nobody asking the same questions about Grimm or Finback

    3) Lastly there is a fucking thousands-long laundry list of NYC-based companies that make more money (in some cases we’re talking revenue in the hundreds of millions or even billions) that are doing less to help - let’s target them first

Of course not! I agree with everything you said earlier and here! This is the third time I’m saying I don’t think we should expect or criticize OH (or any other company) for what they do or don’t give to charity (except maybe Amazon and Bezos, that rich fuck!). I was just originally making an observation that I found amusing. I know I need more to do these days. “Working” from home is less
stressful but I have a LOT of time on my hands!

By the way, have any of you had a Burrito recently and did it get any better? I have one can left and wasn’t a huge fan of my first one.

So my neighborhood is in the Sunday delivery rotation. But it looks like they only offer a limited selection vs everything they have for sale at the brewery right?

Trying to get in a delivery order now that they're doing park slope but, am getting an error that the mix-and-match 6 pack thing isnt really working.

"Items in the Cans category (DDH Oh...Forever - 4 pack, Green City - 4 pack) must be bought in groups of 6. Please add or remove the items to continue."

that's the opposite of what their message on this is? i'm trying to get a mixed case and it's telling me that those beers need to make up their own case.

Correct. I assume they have good insight on their supply with warehouse sales, local distro, and then what's left (or maybe not moving as well) is delivery.

I have a friend in the LES sending photos of Other Half in the wild at Essex Market. $28 for Forever Simcoe. That's a casual 40% markup. I wonder how well that moves.

What up comrades? Everyone safe? I’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past 3 weeks and haven’t had much to add here, but happy to say the Roc Showers from a month ago is still the best tasting beer in my fridge. Remember a month ago? Seems like a year ago. Seriously looking forward to a time when we can start replanning an OH meetup and bitch about little things like hand dryers and people stupidly standing in line again. Until then, keep strong and wash your fucking hands.

I know man! It’s crazy. A month ago to the day I was lying by a pool in Miami for my wife’s (still super hot btw) birthday, and all the big dogs were lol’ing about people overreacting to COVID. Said big dogs now seem to be permanently residing in the Hamptons, and Miami pools (or any sort of vacation/social interaction) seem like a lifetime ago

So, the rising covid cases is definitely related to OH having pastry town a week before everything basically crumbled right?

Probably put fresh squeeze lime on your pizza.

    Too good for Fargo.

Unless there's a lot of #pastryboiz in High Bridge, Jamaica, and Far Rockaway I don't think there was much spread starting at Pastrytown (see NYC health department's positive test map released this week).

Northern NJ is hit pretty hard. Could have created some cases. I wouldn't rule it out. Granted you have crowded commuter trains and subway cars and packed city streets for commuters too. Probably never know for sure. But at Pastrytown did you get a glass that you reused all day or plastic disposable? Because reusing while cheaper/environmentally friendly isn't going to allow for proper sanitizing temperature washing realistically. To say nothing of lines/being packed in. That said I don't think anyone was ready for this other than epidemiologists and infectious disease specialists who have been predicting this might happen when there was some spread overseas. Too bad we all didn't listen I guess. Be interesting to see when big events like this resume and whether it will call for more aggressive sanitizing measures and smaller crowds, at least til there is a vaccine.

Delivery is the new line life. More Citra, Cabin Fever and Oh...Forever All Gone before my 11AM swoop by today.

Not that I’m complaining, beyond stoked to have Forever Ever and Green City to crush at will right now but normally I might be a little bummed (luckily we were able to hit Grimm up too bc apocalypse = no traffic whatsoever)

This is what NJ has been dealing with. No delivery but for pick up. Troon is still going in 5-10 minutes, conclave is going in less than an hour I believe, twin elephant sells out quick. Definitely gotta have IG alerts set up.

Were More Citra and Oh... Forever on your delivery options? Neither were there when I placed an order for the UWS on Wednesday.
