Sadly, I could find no takers for my Black Butte XXIII. Admittingly, I didn't really want to share

I tried to Share some Celebration at Thanksgiving, however almost more than the bird was dead and cooked on the table.

I definitely know how that feels, bro..... I still remember earlier this year when I popped a bottle of Anchorage Love Buzz saison while two non-craft beer friends were around. I wasn't trying to convert them into craft beer drinkers but I still asked if they wanted to try out of courtesy. Splitted the 22oz amoung three of us. They took a sip and said "OMG this is so much better...I love it...." Few hours later, their beer remained untouched.

Lesson Learned- Share your collection with people who know how to appreciate them. Get loads of Sierra Nevada for non-craft beer friends.

Over Labor Day weekend, I let my uncle try some JK Whiskey Barrel Rodeo and he almost spit it out, choked it down and told me it tasted like crap. I replied he was too much of a frickin' wine snob to appreciate good beer.

I just don't offer anymore. I had a friend gag from smelling Hill Farmstead Riwaka, so I knew that would never work. It's often like that. One of my friends just started homebrewing and is basically as into beer as I am, so at least I'm not alone lol. A lot of people are like that with extreme flavors of anything, as I saw mentioned previously. I love extreme everything, which is probably why I loved Ruination after starting to try craft for a couple of weeks, and my first sour. We just gotta let people like what they like, saves us beer in the long run. Now if someone asks, I'll let someone try one of my beers. I just don't try to convert anyone.

This stuff is tough to read, I will kill for the chance to try a lot of these beers but what can you do, some people could care less about craft beer and will stick to the ol faithfuls. I brought a family member who is semi into craft beer a fresh pliny the elder and a HT, he took it but acted like I was trying to pass off my garbage beers to him. Still have not heard a word about them so assuming he either discarded them or they the are going to age ungracefully in the fridge

I remember her having a problem with that... I gladly took some. But the problem with Woodshop is there is soooo much damn good beer you have to start saying no. I passed up Rare, but then someone else I knew gave me a pour when I had my glass just sitting around empty. Unfortunately I did end the day not saying no enough and had a rough night

ive worked in several bars over the years and the most shocking one guest sent back a Bourbon county Stout. a total and complete waste on someone who doesnt drink beer normally who trusted my taste in beer. dont ask what my favorite beer is if all you drink fizzy yellow crap.

I've seen my friend's girlfriend shoot down some pretty ridiculous beers. Like beers that one should be privileged to be tasting. Vintage KBS, Backstage Series, Vintage and rare Bell's (Blacknote, BBA 9000, etc.).
