they added it to the untapped menu (for cans), and the online shop has the crowler for sale. Also an Instagram and facebook post on the Jedi Mind Tricks

 

RE: split the megahertz.

They had it last weekend (someone posted the 4pk to instagram with the caption along the lines of "thanks for making it right"); wonder why they let it sit a week.

 

Yeah, I saw a few pics as well... I suspect they held it back to have more to sell for this week. I'm guessing a few orders got messed up or they oversold the other beers and made up for it with split the megahertz here or there.

 

yea i know for the first 30-60 minutes of the sale their system had some issues processing orders.

 

Picked up a crowler of Jedi Mind Tricks. It's definitely a big beer, almost like a New England Barleywine. Tough abv for a crowler, but we'll see how it goes. I asked about cans, they said some might be dropping tomorrow.

it’s not bad. It’s a big beer, and drinks as such. It’s a bit unique as it’s almost like a hazy barleywine (maybe a lot of TIPAs are like this? I’m not sure this is only my second TIPA). It leans towards the sweeter side, and has an alcohol bite - but it’s still pretty harmonized, for the abv.

i think it would be better suited in cans or a 22oz bottle, but totally understand it being in the crowler these days!

 

Doesn't sound like a beer I would enjoy to much. Would buy an eleven OZ pour of it ASAP but not 32 Oz of it,

 

agreed - I know 32oz of it would be too much for just me with no one to share... 12oz cans would be nice... LOL.

problem is per a comment in Instagram from TEB is that they don't have labels designed/approved yet so they can't can beers like this...

 

Beers like this one are why I traditionally prefer growlers or howlers over crowlers. At least you can seal them back up and finish the next day or two.

 

Yea, it would be much better in a growler, but I understand the situation they're in. It took me all day, but I finished it

 

looks like its sold out now. Crazy all these breweries are running out of beer.... lol... even Carton looks like they are down to just kegs on most offerings

 

Just picked up a 4 pack of Split the Megahertz was told there was plenty left. .

 

They may have meant "plenty left to be pick up" but it was very much sold out Friday. Not even on the site anymore.

 

I ordered mine at about 8AM
this morning and picked it up at noon. So it was not sold out on Friday or Saturday.

 

It was definitely out Friday evening and Saturday morning when I checked. May have had a few refunds or something that changed it.

 

I think the confusion stems from my post, which was referring to Jedi Mind Tricks being sold out, but Dennis may have thought I meant Megahertz..

BTW - got a crowler of Ripen the Pint and it was a fantastic fruited sour... so much pure mango flavor. If you like The Answer Joose Crowelers, I thought this was up there...

Saw that this AM says they are sold out.

 

Hasn't gone on sale yet. I think they are just setting it up for later. Suspect it will go live tonight or tomorrow night.

 

yeah, they add them in early, it was the same with StM.

Question about crowlers... has anyone opened a crowler 10+ days old yet? My only TE crowlers have been opened within 4 days and they were good. Just trying to figure out how these may hold up longer term. Not sure if they're co2 purging them like Troon or just filling them like they would a growler (like Kane, and most places). Grabbing 1 of each of the new crowlers for a friend and I just don't know when I will get a chance to see them.
