I think the problem with TN is not legal but a problem finding a delivery service - we had it briefly in NC but they pulled out because of problems with the delivery service.
I'm wondering what experience anyone may have with this Tavour beer-shipping program. I'm reluctant to expose myself to their surely voracious marketing by signing up just to be able to find out about their pricing; and I have to assume their prices are outrageous, but who knows? Hopefully YOU know, and can advise me.
few that are up now on mine my state doesnt get tavour have account with fake address set up just to see what they offer here and there sorry couldnt get full post with pics too big, got the prices with beer names though
It's odd how things show up. Narrow Gauge is a MO brewery, but I don't get it in the app. Oddly enough, there is a 2nd Shift (also St. Louis, MO) in my app right now. I'd seriously consider picking up some Narrow Gauge if it were made available. Although it is nice to have access to a 2nd Shift BA beer. It's not quite enough to encourage me to open up a new box. We'll see what else they post this week.
For what it's worth, I don't get over to St. Louis much, but when I do - I try to pick up Narrow Gauge beers. Lots of stuff I'd like to try from California, if you ever want to try to arrange something. DDH Fallen Flag is one of their flagships (no pun intended) and seems to be pretty regularly available.
Prices are pretty fair. Seen some for same price at retail stores and some for 2-5 bucks more (those are usually the barrel aged beers) however when you think about it you’re spending a few bucks extra for beer you can’t get in your area. Shipping is 14 bucks flat rate for if you order one beer or 2+ Boxes of beer, which is why I wait months before sending and often don’t add IPAs until I know I’m going to have box delivered soon.
The best IPAs always, always, ALWAYS pop up right after you've had a crate shipped. Last time I did, Anchorage, Bearded Iris and Moonraker stuff all posted within a week. I too try to save IPA purchases for a week or two before the crate ships but it's not always easy to map out that way.
Do you have Mousseux Alban by Side Project x Bruery Terreux available in your app right now? That one just popped up for me today, but as another Missouri brewery I was curious if it was available to you or not.
Did Tavour double post the Cycle bottle set for anybody else? It's listed twice in the options. Makes me think they bought too much. Have an order shipping out next week, so I've been watching closely for anything else that may be fun to include.
I haven't seen the Cycle set at all in my app yet. Most recent addition today is Great Notion's Blueberry Muffin.
Interesting. We get some Great Notion, but haven't gotten that. The Cycle set was added today and then approximately 4 days ago (about half way back on the list of beers).
What are they asking for it? I saw on their instagram page that they were going to be offering it soon, but it just hasn't popped up over here yet. All of the bundles they've been offering lately have been selling out, it seems. They all seem to go to "waitlist me" after a day or two on my end. I'm in the same boat with having a box that could close soon. I only have stouts in it right now, so I keep delaying it a week while waiting for a few more exciting options to pop up.
Asking $250. Free shipping and ships immediately instead of with your box. I may delay my box another week or two as my only two bottles are wild ales.
Got my cycle offer today. Could get it, but with my Casey EF and recent forager purchase just can’t spend 250 on 7 beers
I'm surprised they didn't get it out to other markets earlier and instead double-posted it in my market. I, personally, just can't justify the price tag, although they are beers I'd like to try.
Here's my haul from Tavour today. The bottle shops aren't doing delivery in my area so this is perfect. Hope your weekend is as good as mine is going to be.
Cycle Brewing is a small brewery from St. Pete, FL. Every year they release a series of big barrel aged stouts named after the days of the week. I've never had any of their stouts from that series, but had a different one of their stouts and it was high quality for sure. I'd love to check out this set, but $250 on 7 beers is too steep for me. I'm sure you could get them cheaper at the brewery, of course. https://www.cyclebrewing.com/
