Yes. If you bought tix at the taproom, you have to get the refund at the taproom. BPT purchases are being refunded by BPT, but I’ve heard this has been taking a while.

I posted a few posts back but I would recommend filing the CC dispute. I wasn’t joking about Brown Paper Tickets apparently being in financial peril.

I got to say their BA stout branding is gorgeous. That said, I've never really loved their BA offerings and at $30/bottle there's no way I'd be getting any.

Untapped reviews of the new one are pretty meh from what I've seen as well, sounds like a ton of cinnamon and not much barrel.

had mine last night. It was really good. I have to say they really deliver on BA adjunct stouts every time out imo. Not a ton of barrel but enough to reign in the sweetness/cinnamon/coconut just enough. I thought it was worth picking up though it would’ve been a better share beer than a solo dome job

Fair enough. I guess it comes down to a preference thing.I much prefer boozier/barrely BA stouts than ones with limited barrel presence.

Thankfully we live in an age with a lot of variety in our BA stouts!

I hear you on that. You’d think there would be more barrel when super fresh. How much of it is an abundance of adjuncts? As best as I can tell, they leave the beer in the barrels for a normal length of time

I really hope they have more of this available Wednesday that I can get for curbside pickup. I had bottles reserved, but after they announced you had to go in to pick it up yourself, I had to pass. My wife has pretty bad asthma, and it's not worth the risk just for some beer.

they aren’t doing curbside pickup unless I’m mistaken. With the online ordering you still go inside to pickup your bag

Maybe if you explained your situation they'd make an exception for you? I've found most people and places to be pretty accommodating these days. Can't hurt to inquire.

I had a BA S’more cowbell last night. It gushed a little, but otherwise tasted great.

Good idea - they did. They weren't very busy at the time, which helped, I'm sure.

Mikerphone Five has plenty of barrel on it. Since it is a blend with no adjuncts, this would support the theory that the other Mikerphone stouts seem to have light barrel flavor based on the heavy adjuncts. Really nice beer

Whoever decided it was a good idea to bottle the BA beers in 750mls needs to be beaten with a mash paddle

Yea it’s like orange meets Hawaiian Punch. Pretty impressed. I haven’t had something like this from Mikerphone since the first batch of Lunches Brunches Interviews almost 4 years ago
