Drinking some WV Haze

 

To be honest with you, I purchased a 12 pack a little over two weeks ago at the local grocery, I was surprised with the date on the package (it was better than Total Wine package by two months), I just looked at the date on the bottle and it was 10/17/19...
(MAJOR woodie collapse!). I have not been purchasing my favorite beer for this reason. Makes no sense to me, as they are down the road in NC.Either the distributor or the brewery is not on top of their game. It’s a SHAME!

My old faithful. Haven't had this one in a while but it certainly hits the spot

 

I live in CA and it's not Always fresh where I shop at but it's always refrigerated. It's one of the only beers that I don't care so much about freshness as long as it's kept cold. I've noticed it's usually fresher at grocery stores (about 1 month) instead of Bevmo (2-4 months)

it is a great beer V
the concept of a pilsner as your base when creating a sour tastes very right to me
a merlot version is out although I've not been fortunate to try just yet - RR won't sell a growler of a sour which is double unfortunate
I'd like to see a whole lot of versions of this beer
