Sad news in the Munster Times obituary section today.

The grieving parents were somber: "After slipping at home in the shower two weeks ago and fracturing his hip, our beloved son is believed to have contracted Covid-19 while in the emergency room. He battled bravely for two weeks against overwhelming odds before succumbing to his illness. He was in the prime of his life and had everything going for him- fame, a good paying job that required minimal hours, and he was beloved by thousands. RIP Dark Lord."

 

Random thought: Halloween is a Saturday this year. It would be pretty awesome to reschedule Dark Lord day on Halloween.

Living in Ohio, being a very early state to jump into the shut down culture, I haven't stopped living it up! I just happen to have already been inclined to hermit behavior to begin with, so a beer on the back porch is party rockin.

Definitely in the camp of having a hard 2 week shutdown nationwide would have been more effective than the patchwork free for all we have now. Then DLD might still be on track. Lack of national leadership is still the biggest problem...
