Or you can do you due diligence and practice social distancing and not go to a fucking busy bar and touch people. If you absolutely NEED the Governor of the state to literally shut down bars and restaurants, so that you don't go out and potentially infect other people... maybe you should never leave your house because you're too stupid to exist on this planet.

The thing that sucks is that if we do a good job and the impact is minimized, people will say "see, it wasn't even that big of a deal." If the projections are correct and tens of millions are infected and we have a high death rate, they'll go, "Well no one told me to not go outside. I didn't even feel sick."

    Come on Sebooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I didn't touch anybody. Didn't touch anything but my glass and my phone. Washed hands constantly.

I don't think everyone who was out today is too stupid to exist on this planet. That was a lot of good people I saw today. And I think we all needed it. I think it did more good than harm. I hope I'm not wrong on that. If you see a spike or cluster in my neighborhood and I test positive I'll have to deal with that. I don't apologize for going to local businesses that are open and scared they'll go bankrupt. I don't think the bar tenders, cooks, bussers, dishwashers... that showed up for maybe their last shift in two months are dumb. And if they are allowed to work tomorrow I won't blame them for that either.

This thing is very fluid. New information every hr it seems. Your rhetoric here is as uninformed as the people who are being careless, in my imo.

I was at a brewery in a town the FRACTION of the size of San Diego, in a room with four people, for a half hour. Little different, dude.

Ha. You don't know that. I was the only one at the entire bartop at pizza port OB for a half hr or so. So you were closer to people than I was. Fact remains, you went out. The crowd that meant you there was what it was. You should curb your judgements of other people who wanted to socialize in this time. When the info is more clear, as it is becoming even now, we will all hopefully make better decisions.

Is this the new norm? Shaming people who leave their house?

it should be! Well maybe not just leaving the house (there are a few valid and necessary reasons), but 2 groups of people hugging, people going to crowded bars. Absolutely you deserve to be shamed. Fucking A people.

Had not bought any beer from BB in more than a year maybe 2. Just bought a 4pk of Weathered Vain IPA thinking of your recommendation and hopefully they have largely improved. I am having difficulty drinking it and might pour it out. Which beers of theirs do you suggest?

When the virus is gone people like you will stay around. Keeping their social militia uniforms ready for another 1984.

Buena Vista IPA, Good Guy Pale Ale, Green Eyed Amber, Easy Rider Brown, Sunup Stout, plus some other good more one offs. Their wit is solid as well.

Has anyone had Pure Project Clouds of Delusion? I found a place that has 4-packs available locally and I'm wondering if it's good enough to include as part of my weekly errands.

Not a big fan of Pure hazy IPAs. Although that's the Moonraker collab right? One of the only ones I've sort of liked.

Oh, I didn't know it was a Moonraker collab. I'm a little bit more interested now.

Yeah, the Moonraker version is called "Delusions of Clouds" hopped with Ekuanot, Citra, and El Dorado. Pure's version, which is just a reverse of the name (Clouds of Delusion) is hopped with Mosaic and Nelson.

Just saw that Mother Earth tap house in downtown Vista is moving due to loss of lease. They don't have another spot, at least not publically named yet. Bummer, I've had a lot of good times there while ordering killer Urbn Pizza.

Same, that was such a great spot to have a beer. Their food concept next door took forever to get off the ground due to the city and it sounded like it never quite took off for them. That, a lot more competition near by, the lease expiring, and the tap room being closed for the near future probably lead to them closing it.

Anyone know any events or beers that are getting tapped for SDBW? Will happen to be in the area for the weekend.

I forgot all about SDBW. I assume things will be low key this year. I don't plan on going to any events.

Usually the SD Brewer's Guild has a list of things.
