Looking to acquire some Classic this weekend. Does this come in the standard 6/12 pack of cans, or is it similar to All Day IPA where you can get a 15 pack?

I’ve seen 6 pack and 15 pack. But I guess it really depends on the store. One locally only had 15 packs but then another store only had 6 packs. Wegmans always seems to do a good job stocking lots of victory if there is one nearby.

Seriously considering getting some of this seeing as how the PA online sales website is a joke and Delaware has started using the police to stop Pennsylvanians from shopping there. Downingtown is also a lot closer then NJ.

I went to Total Wine & More in Claymont yesterday to purchase wine via I-95. According to the below they won’t stop you if take that route (see bold):

“The seventh modification of the Governor’s State of Emergency Declaration specifically addresses the requirement for out-of-state persons traveling in to the State of Delaware to self-quarantine for 14 days. This order authorizes any Delaware law enforcement officer to stop a vehicle driving within the state simply because it is displaying out-of-state tags. During the stop the officer may ask limited questions related to the driver’s recent travel. The driver then must be informed of the Governor’s declarations and will be explicitly advised that if they are coming into Delaware from out-of-state, they are required by law, to self-quarantine for 14 days while in Delaware, or immediately return to their home state. This authorization does not apply to vehicles traveling on I-95, I-295, or I-495.”

If you do decide to go to Total Wine & More just be prepared to wait in a line to enter the store. It took me between 5-10 minutes of waiting to get in when I went.

    Cheers!

DE State Troopers set up a checkpoint going into Total Wine and made everyone with out of state plates turn around, you are only allowed to pass through the state now and should not be stopping unless for emergency reasons. 6ABC just broadcasted live from the checkpoint/TW parking lot and you could see the State Troopers posted up.

Wow! Things change quickly in these times of plague. Thanks for the update!

    Cheers!

P.S. Total Wine is losing a shit-ton of revenue here.

For sure! And of course the PLCB is too with the shut down and now with the goofy way that they are handling online sales, I saw an article recently that mentioned that they only made $59K in a day, what a joke.

NP and let us know what you think, as I am curious about their spirits.

Make sure you call Victory in D'town first to find out what ST distilled beverages that are available that you can order, the price and then pickup. Also, it's important to note that Victory is continuing their weekend special: any Victory or Sixpoint beer available on draft is selling for $10 for THREE CROWLERS!! Once again, call first to check beers available and then place your order.

I placed my order yesterday and picked up my bottles today it was a two man operation and was very easy. Everyone was practicing social distancing. I haven't been out to Victory in some time that bridge nearby is under construction. Good thing Android auto was working.

Thank you Victory and Southern Tier for making this possible.

So what did you get? The smoked bourbon & 2X Hopped Whiskey really intrigue me.

I got the smoked bourbon and the straight bourbon
I have only got into the smoked one so far. It's smooth not too hot. A little woody and light on the smoke. A nice change from what I had been drinking(Buffalo Trace and eagle rare)

My understanding is that Victory has crowlers now and accordiing to their website that they're open only Thursday thru Sunday and have setup a delivery service. And apparently now are selling crowlers are $3.33 each for all draft beers Thursday thru Sunday. Orders for crowlers need to made online as well as delivery of ST beverages

Richard, that is a sweet online portal that Victory created.

Folks might be interested in knowing that there are lots of purchasing options beyond crowlers:
    • 4/6 packs
    • 12/15 packs
    • Cases (24 - 12 ounce)
Hopefully this will help Victory sell lots of beer during these challenging COVID-19 times.

    Cheers!

I have a feeling they're doing just fine with the major increase in demand due to people being home all day in a period of generally heightened stress

Kudos to Victory for continuously adapting and with each week it seems like the deals get better and the ordering gets simpler. For those interested there are both Victory and Sixpoint draft options available right now.

And I will forever be perplexed by their choices for the Kick Back Can Pack and right now it is Golden Monkey, Sour Monkey, Easy Ringer, Cloud Walker, No Brainer.

3 IPAs and no lager?!?!? Why in the world is Prima not in this version? Or at least the new Helles Lager, Classic.

Sub in Prima or Classic for one of the monkeys and switch No Brainer out for Hop Devil and I’d be ok with it.
