    Thanks for posting this!

I ordered yesterday, and got the beers an hour ago! Cheers!

I am probably not the best person, but here is my opinion.

I have not been out of the house in over three weeks, just going on runs at 4:30am.

So, the fact they delivered to my door within 24 hours is great.

I had two beers, posted in the what beer are you drinking now, the DIPA was very good, the IPA was good.

I must admit, I don’t drink Aslin style as much anymore, but I enjoyed both.

I wouldn’t vouch at all, haven’t had Aslin in a few months but recently tried Dunley, bringing sexy back, and 4odas bro....BSB wasn’t bad and a pretty good bargain for 13.00 the other two were not good at all

What time did you order on Wednesday? I guess I waited too long because I ordered mine that afternoon and it just now shipped.

I had A Small Town... recently, it was ok, had the sweetness of a DIPA though. Also had Doch, it was pretty good just a little heavy/thick.

Saw that Aslin sent out some Trite and the pilsner to The Brew Shop and Dominion. Wonder if we'll see more extensive distro beyond kegs.

Pretty cool to get Aslin delivered to your door. I got Nuances of Meaning (6.7% IPA) and Dad Jokes (5.5% IPA). These are my first Aslin cans in at least a year. I used to drive out to Herndon all the time in 2016 to get my fix, but times have changed I guess.

The beers are good, nothing mind blowing. Definitely short of what I expected and what I remember Aslin capable of producing. Hop aroma for beers this fresh is a bit disappointing. Taste is a bit bland and the beers feel thin. DC has been lucky to get shipments of The Veil and Triple Crossing recently and I feel like Aslin has fallen off while the others are on the top of their game.

I've not completely written off Aslin yet. I still have hope, but will wait a bit before I give them a try again.

quoting myself. Looks like Aslin is in fact dialing in shipping costs and they are going up. Out of curiosity I mocked up an order this evening and shipping to my house is now 1/2 case = $26.47, 1 case = $39.33, 2 cases = $75.57. Significant changes since last week.

Gave beer drinking is not a crime a try again, used to love this beer sadly it’s not even close to the same. Will take another long break from Buying Aslin again.

Anyone tried any of the newest BA bottles? Early untappd reviews are strong with Chantilly the clear standout. Surprised I haven't seen a bunch of ISO's posted in the trade forums yet.

I cracked the barleywine and I really enjoyed it even if it was less of a traditional barleywine and more of a barleywine inspired stout.

I've had Greenville and Chantilly so far. I would say Greenville is on par with Aslin's average barrel-aged stout, with the rating on that other BeerAdvocate-affiliated site being about spot-on. Chantilly, however, is friggin' superb. If anything, that one is underrated to my tastes.

I do most of my trading via Facebook (about the only thing I still use social media for), and these are trading like wildfire there.

How are they being ranked and what have you seen them go for?

I'm not looking to part with any of my bottles, so I can't say I've really focused on specifics. As usual, the traders seem to have less interest in the barleywine, Watertown, even though it's probably more of a stout with light barleywine-like characteristics, as I've come to expect from Aslin. The one trade beer that did catch my eye was Modern Times Mostra Tones, which appears to be gathering some pretty lofty praise.

Nice! Looks like Chantilly and Greenville have been the favorites from this release so far.

I bought a bottle of Chantilly and Watertown. Loved them both, though Chantilly was the clear standout. I got tons of barrel and coffee among the other adjuncts and it was a great overall experience. Watertown was very much similar to a stout. Very good and much more straightforward. Good hints of toffee.

Couldn't resist buying some Power Moves when I saw it at the store. Exceeded my expectations. A nice lower abv crusher.

I've had all four now, and I'd rank them as follows: Orlando, Chantilly, Greenville, Watertown.

I stand by my comments on Chantilly, but Orlando is on another level to my tastes. Nothing tickles my butthole like a well-executed cinnamon stout, and Orlando just kills it on that front. It's just the slightest step below Buku Dua and Buku Cay Va Ni, which kept me from giving it a perfect rating on that other BA-affiliated site, but it's so damn close.

Watertown, on the other hand, was disappointingly lacking in complexity. Caramel largely overwhelms everything else. If you get it to its temperature sweet spot, which I'd peg around 50-55 degrees, you can kind of tease out the other adjuncts, but you still have to be looking hard to spot them. I'm hopeful a few months' time will balance things out. I normally wouldn't intentionally sit on a coffee beer, but I had success with Aslin New Orleans. Like Watertown, New Orleans presented little flavor separation and barely any coffee presence when fresh, but it opened up much more after about six months. Fingers crossed on my remaining two bottles of Watertown.

Looks like there is another bottle release tomorrow, FWIW.
