I hope Permanent Funeral is next.

Seems like they'll eventually get all their DIPA and TIPAs in there too, which is awesome.

Dreadnaught is one of my all time favorite beers, but I must admit I am a little nervous with the change in format. They must have tweaked the recipe because the abv is different (unless my memory has gone to crap which is always possible). Hope it still tastes the same, I'll pick up a couple 4-packs for research purposes

Dreadnaught was the beer that got me into craft...love that beer

Yeah, def bought this out of the cooler at a Whole Foods because I had heard about 3 Floyds. Poured a nice frosty glass and hated it. Poured the rest out of the warmed up bottle and that day I learned that big IBU high ABV IPAs need some time to warm up.

Same here...father in law introduced to me. I had just run about 4.5 miles and I asked for something to drink, thinking he would bring me a water. Instead, I get a bomber of a 9.5% beer that I had never heard of. First sip was so unique to anything I had ever tried before and I could not believe it was a beer, just amazing, still remember that day...

Yeah, it was just so different from anything I had had up until that point. My friend was brewing a Lunar in Villa Park, so we started hanging out there (circa 2011). He was like try this, and it was just wow!

Growlers of Cocoa Beware $20 for curbside. Dark ale brewed with copious amounts of toasted coconut and cocoa nibs.

How long has it been since Three Floyds filled growlers? 7? 8 years ago?

I remember when they stopped and it seemed like their whole organization personified the qualities of an enormous eyeroll when people would ask if they do growler fills.

I think their hands were probably forced on this one, right?

They don't do crowlers and bars are not open so they have no other option to use up the beer that was already filled in kegs. That said, if they start selling kegs, I am making an immediate trip to Munster.

I think this is correct. Von Munsthur and Wigsplitter growlers are now available as well. Cocoa Beware is likely from their Floydmania event which didn’t happen.

They said beware of Covid-19 and we all know how that turned out. No way in hell I'm not heading the advice on the label and steering clear of Cocoa...

you can get 1/6 barrels of their stuff from binnys or any decent craft beer shop. Alpha king and gumballhead are usually in stock with other beers available for special order. I’ve gotten zombie and blot out the sun before for example. Fresh alpha king has always been very underrated on draft imo

    Dreadnaught > Permanent Funeral.

That's all I've got to say about that.

I am stunned that you are not here advocating for a hazy with lactose and liquified Gummies.

I'm tilting at newer Windmills these days.

    See what I did there?
