Don't you dare contact the virus Larry!

That being said, none of those places will deliver?

I would call Saraveza and check...if you really want it I guarantee that Ben's Bottleshop in Vancouver will still have some

This is the correct attitude to have. I'm proud of you.

Most places up here are doing contactless curbside pickup but very few are delivering. Since I'm still recovering from heart surgery and my wife won't let me go anywhere, my beer money is going to the places that will deliver to me.

My work has been doing beer delivery, with a limited food menu for a couple years now. Lately, we've been doing full menu delivery. Today, in addition to that, we had an Easter dinner special for either pick-up or delivery, full Easter dinner for 6, $100. A bunch of folks pre-ordered that!

Plus, your wife is smart. Don't go play around others for a while yet. Get better!

    Ditto on that!

Increasingly, most places here in pdx are doing at least some limited delivery service. Typically, there's a purchase minimum and a nominal charge ($5 is fairly common), and a limited delivery area. I get the impression these are desperate times for a lot of places, and they're doing whatever is necessary to make their nickel.

Oh for sure, I get it and don't complain. I wear a mask when I go out for walks and keep my distance. I won't lie, there are times where it's been tough when nearly EVERYONE is canning now and I can't get any of it. Cloudburst cans? Lower Case Italian Pils cans? Seapine cans? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Fortunately I've got some loving friends who have dropped stuff off for me, like a bottle of B4K and my most recent Floodland order.

Urban Family, Fair Isle and Mirage will deliver to my house. I've ordered from Mirage (2 4-pack minimum, $2 mandatory tip per 4-pack) twice now and will take Urban Family up on it next time I need more beer. I've still got plenty of Fair Isle's amazing saisons in handy dandy 375 format so I'm good there.

Over the last month the only buildings I've been inside are my house and UWMC.

For those looking for 2020 Rusty Nail, Todd at Arch Bridge mentioned they got 6 cases of it. Am there now and they do indeed have plenty.

Thanks, but as much as I love RN, that's a bit more of a drive than I want to make. :sunglasses:

Some vintages, RN has been a bit hard to track down here in pfx. That's why I posted what I did. When I called Beermongers earlier in the week, they had it in, but with a one bottle per person purchase limit. Hence my relief when I found out AB had plenty.

I moved from MI and am still learning beer release schedules out here. Was this recently release? Seems an odd time for a stout...

I make the drive down to deGarde every few months... there are a LOT of quality stops if you make a loop road trip out of it!

It varies these days. The original pre-order release at the taproom was cancelled because one of the employees tested positive for COVID.

One of the Hobos went to Seattle to pick a new washer/dryer yesterday, and sent a group text from fremont, all stressed out that it was nearly gone and how much did we want hin to grab for us? I told him it was likely gonna be like B4K, and hit distro in a week or so. He wasn't appeased, and bought a bunch. Shrug. I don't particularly care for cinnamon, so I always pass anyway. But, i bet he opens a bottle at a share tonight.

Here in PDX, it just showed up this past week. I think June is the usual release month for this beer.

I agree it's a bit of an odd time to release a ba stout. If memory serves, I think Stone typically releases their impy stout around this time as well. In the case of Fremont, they have two other big ba stout releases that take place at different times in the winter (bbomb and kds). Fremont has a pretty robust barrel aging program, so my guess is they need to do whatever they can to space things out throughout the year.

You say that like this is a bad thing.

Some hobo type individual did the same thing here at Arch Bridge (opened up a bottle to share with the crowd). So you can probably guess what I'm drinking now. Unlike you Terry, I don't mind a "touch" of cinnamon in my ba stouts. Beer is a bit sweet and boozy right now, but otherwise is excellent as always.

I don't mind a "touch", but a little goes a long way for me, and I've found beers with it, including RN, are way too much for me. Shrug. There's other beers.

This year's RN is softer on the cinnamon, more barrel/chocolate/licorice. It's delicious (but you knew that).

Took in a truckload (and expensive) of Fremont stuff, but it is worth it. I have yet to be disappointed or regretful of any Fremont Brewing purchase.

    2xBrew 4000
    1xRusty Nail
    1xBarrel Aged Dark Star
1xBarrel Aged Dark Star Coffee Edition

Let me add that Brew 4000 sold out in less then 72 hours. However, an insider told me there are 2 bottles reserved in storage that will be available for purchase on Black Friday.

I haven't tried it yet, but initial reviews are that it is outstanding/world class, not that I expected anything less.
