DDH Nectar and Knife Our original house DIPA returns in its DDH form. An incredibly irresponsible amount of both Simcoe and Mosaic pellets sent in over multiple dry hop charges have taken our beloved DIPA into an entirely new level of hop saturation. ⁣

We don’t DDH everything just to do it, or do much of anything around here just because, we employ it sparingly, which requires careful consideration on multiple facets of the beer to include hop varietals, amounts, and overall hop and base beer character prior to sending all those pellets into the tank. ⁣

This one though, came through with even more expressive mango, overtly green tropical fruit, and sweet orange tangerine pineapple citrus pulp, all layered on to a full on hop oil-laden finish. 8% ABV and ***AVAILABLE NOW TO-GO AND DELIVERY ORDERS TOMORROW*** in 4-packs at $19.

***A friendly reminder, all orders received after 12PM will be fulfilled on the following day. Our team members will be delivering all orders between 2-7PM daily.*** Thank you for your continued support, we are actively trying to make the to-go experience as best as possible in these uncertain times.

That seems like quite the sell job.
An incredibly irresponsible amount of both Simcoe and Mosaic pellets - So they're using more hops than normal?
multiple dry hop charges - It is double dry hopped so multiple = two?
green tropical fruit - so it's a little raw tasting?

Do they need to sell this beer to sell it?

Do you not often read TC's social media beer descriptions? I am a TC beer fan but this is not new, they have some slightly overboard ones, I have a text with a few silly examples from a buddy.
    "deepened candied grapefruit dank"
"dank herbaceaous eucalyptus w/ star anise undercurrent"
"green tropical fruit laden on apricot"

I do not. I do follow them on social media, but given that I don't make it to Richmond that often and am usually just reactive to when TC is on draft up here, I don't read their posts.

Heartfelt is back in cans as well.

    ___________________________________
Heartfelt IPA - Where do we begin.. likely from the beginning, and maybe it’s all due to the unholy blade of distribution politics that severed a much needed singular hop varietal classic from our fair city.... or whatever.

As cryptic as that may or may not be, the 16oz can before you is our interpretation of a beloved and still extremely relevant mid-coast IPA featuring 100% hand selected Centennial hops in both the kettle, whirlpool, and dry hopping.

We taste pulpy grapefruit, trix cereal fruit impressions, bright pine, all of which get pulled together with a drinkable cleansing bitterness and a softer candied citrus like ester profile derived from the use of an alternate American Ale strain.
    $14 per 4pk

I only wanted Citra Triangles, so that was fine for me! Ordered a couple four packs.

Yeah too bad, delivery sounds cool, and it's a fine beer, but in no way do I want 12 Citra triangles only. haha.

I just noticed the 3 minimum, but it let me order just 2 four packs. Hmm...

Bottles are now available for shipping in DC/VA. 1 bottle is the same as 1-4pk when looking at order limits.

They probably let it go since they have no inventory, every time I've checked they have had 1 beer available for shipping.

Yeah, beats me. Another likelihood is they forgot to add that restriction on the website, because I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

    Should have my order today!

    VI

In the midst of what should have been our 6th Anniversary celebration, we’re out here pivoting into a logistics company, all the while doing all we can to maintain the icy death grip on our vision for what we want our beers to be, pandemic be damned.

Regardless, we present VI, an Anniversary Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout comprised of 4 separate bourbon barrels originally containing 2 different types of American Whiskey. The combination of our purpose built Imperial Stout grist, a tightly controlled house ale fermentation, whiskey soaked charred deep dark oak, and the end all variable of time, has gotten us to this point.

We taste impressions of barrel derived coconut, Madagascar vanilla, and cocoa powder, with a tobacco like dark brown sugar laden finish.

We couldn’t be prouder of the team of people that make Triple Crossing what we are, and just as much for the unending support shown by all of you for the past 6 years. Take this one down, and we’ll see you all on the other side of this thing.

    12% ABV at $20 per 500ml bottle.

WE WILL BE SELLING VI SHARPLY AT 8PM TONIGHT for VA/DC shipping, local RVA delivery and pick-up from both locations.

    **Shipping (Minimum 3x 4-pack (1 bottle = 4-pack) and Maximum is 6x 4-pack or 6 bottles)**

I remember a lot of people in RVA shit talking V when it came out, but greatly enjoying the bottle they released soon after it. Any thoughts on V? I’ve really liked all the TCB stouts and barleywines that I’ve had.

Been wanting to try this since they started making it. And to have it delivered to my doorstep? Are you kidding? My favorite NE IPA producer with my favorite hop at my favorite ABV range. Life is pretty shitty at the moment, but I am in absolute bliss sipping this. Cheers!

Agreed. Someone asked on IG if any new cans would be t and they said nothing else until next week.
What was the shipping up to DC? I was about to order the 3 cans this week but didn't pull the trigger due to the $22 shipping and only being an hour away. Definitely regret not getting them since after gas it would have only been $15 extra not including the extra 2+ hours of my time. We'll see what bottles are in about 10 mins.

It was $17.93, but I only ordered two 4-packs. I won't be ordering beer this way regularly, but when I saw Citra Triangles was available I couldn't resist.
