A portion of it is spontaneously fermented, but I forget how much. That's why they made such a big deal out of We Are Who We Pretend To Be

Any body remember Mind Melder? The Drakes/Beachwood collab. That was one of the best collab beers at the time. Maybe still is. The 2 are getting back together again for another collab. There Can Only Be Hops will be released during the SFBW. Hopefully this will make its way down to Long Beach. Good ole west coast with Chinook and modern Citra!

PTY on draft this Thursday. Wonder why the stopped doing the raffle (logistics, legal)? Only ever won once but it was nice to not have to deal with crowds and to know my money was going to a good cause regardless of the outcome.

Hey everyone. Quick question. Was going to head to Beachwood in Huntington next week. Was really hoping to snag some of their sours to go. Are they available in H or do I have to go to Blendery? Thanks!

They are available at the HB location. Just not sure if all bottles are available compared to the Blendery.

Interesting. Beachwood is canning Alpha Neo. I can think of several other Beachwood beers i would rather see packaged first

New beachwood IPA can drop today. Order online for pick-up. It's the one they were originally only giving to attendees of their hop selection event.

Ok stopped by the SB location and picked up a couple of 4 packs of their new brew Crowning Star. It’s a WCIPA with selected hops. Popped one open with my neighbor and we were a little disappointed. This one didn’t have much aroma and the flavor dropped off rather quickly. Thought maybe it was too cold since we just pulled it out of the fridge but even after waiting a little while there wasn’t much improvement. Canned on 3/28 so it can’t get any fresher.
Beachwood is our favorite local brewery and we’re always well stocked with their beers but this one missed in our opinion.
Curious to see what everyone else says.

So Beachwood is now putting LBC IPA in 16oz cans, but they're selling them as 4-packs, not 6-packs, for the same cost as the 12oz/6pack. This is a loss of 8oz, which I suppose isn't a big deal, but I was really hoping they would sell them as 6packs to go up against Pizza Port

Still some of the best prices for some great west coast offerings.
