I agree, however I don't know that I'll pick up another 3/4 bottling around then but I would probably get another pack of there were an early April bottling. Big boozy hoppy beers like that I definitely like to try fresh as possible

Looks like it finally showed up in my area. I’ll be picking them up today!

I grabbed a few singles (10.8% version) because I figured that a six pack would be too much, as I can grow tired of D[T]IPAs quickly these days. I am glad that I went that route and I enjoyed my first bottle but not something that I am really in love with. It's hoppy for sure but definitely has some sweetness going on too and I would not want more than one in a sitting.

It's a great value but I prefer other things to this if I had to choose. Kudos to Lagunitas for the great value, though.

And PS: you have more than enough money now so please stop making me hunt for a hard to find and read black inked Julian date on your damn bottles.

The 10.8% bottle I picked up was dated 076 (March 16th).

They use a M/D/Y format on Born Yesterday. I’m not sure what keeps them from doing that on all their beers.

Yeah since this virus has been happening the Total Wine website is shit when trying to find beer that has come in. It basically has been converted over for online ordering and only a few beers can be used for that. Soooo went by today to just "check things out" and scored big, Waldos, Hazy Wonder and Little Sumpin Hazy. So I'm all set on IPA's for a while

I love Little Sumpin' Hazy and it's popping up around me now and getting closer, will definitely be scooping this up once it drops. And if memory serves me correctly it's a few months earlier this year?

Man I don't know. Lagunitas distribution took a hit last year in houston, Phase Change made it to a couple of beer bars, didn't see any of the BA Stout, and there were a couple of more that dropped thru the cracks. This year looks better, thus I dropped $35 on beer tonite and my wife asked me when I got home "And where do you think that is going?" Currently all of our "Cooling Devices" are full

Oh well, maybe not this year - seems like Lags has given up on anything beyond Denver?
    Damn.
At least I have some other heavy-hitters in the basement when I need to hallucinate.

I don’t even want to ask what you meant by that last part.

As for the first part, maybe Lagunitas sees your market as over saturated? Not even sure if they see any market as over saturated, but I’d have to think Denver is loaded with quality beers.

I am curious also and will be trying this one at some point too. Hazy Memory was just okay to me so it will be interesting to see how it compares.

It makes me think of Hazy Memory as well and that was a rare Lagunitas miss for me.

Was going to be my beer tonite when cooking, but my daughter dropped off her 2 month old twins, so beer nor cooking happened. Will pop one tomorrow with dinner and report back. Oddly found Hazy Memory not too bad, just saw I didn't review it but I liked it.

I dunno, today I walked up to a local breweries cooler which used to house Metropolitan, Two Brothers and Off Color and I was like "WTF is something that's not the effen Lagunitas?"

Finally got around to it tonite (or this morning). If you liked the hop profile of Sumpin Easy, but wanted more malt, then this is the beer. I don't know how to describe it other than saying it drinks bright. It has a real good hop profile, and I really dig the slight coconut on the finish. At 6% I can see myself drinking this quite often.
