I'm thinking first/early batch since the numbered bottles I got were all 0*** and I'm in Colorado.

Infected is infected. Not sure where he's publicly flaming the brewery here. How would Great Divide responding to his email make his Yeti less sour and drinkable?

Edit - just finished your back and forth above that I missed when replying. Got your point.

    Cheers!

Aaaaand, just opened bottle 3118 tonight, definitely NOT infected. I don't think there is a cutoff here, folks, weird how this jumps around.

Bottle 1483 was infected. This is the 1st of 3 bottles that was not delicious.

If they are just landing I feel there is a chance that this is a different batch perhaps? The bottle I had was amazing with no signs of infection. I forget the number but I believe it was in the upper 3000's

They just landed in stores, but they've been in Cavalier's warehouse for a while. It's a 23.99 risk I don't wanna take.

Been sitting on #3627 since the end of March... really hoping it is not infected, probably going to give it a shot soon though.

I'd buy a bottle if I saw it. Would be too curious...and it seems like the worst thing that could happen is you get a bottle of BA old ruffian.

I had 2 bottles and they both weren't infected. I have one left so Im hoping to go 3 for 3. If it helps my bottled were all purchased in NJ.

Mine was purchased in NYC, WF Bowery. A buddy got one there too, I'm gonna ask if his was infected (if he drank it yet).

I don't recall my bottle number, but I got it through a source here in Atlanta back in February. Finally had it last week. It was NOT infected, definitely tasted like whiskey and Yeti and nothing else (which is good). Actually, it's one of the best beers I've ever had, but being a sour drinker too I was kind of hoping for some infection. If anyone needs the bottle number I can go dig it out, but I think it was in the 2500s.

It's still drinkable. Worth $25 in infected state? No, probably not. But if you've never had it, it's probably worth a roll of the dice on one bottle. You may get a winner, and even if you don't, it's not completely wasted.

I had 3 BA Yeti's that were sublime and 3 infected(#'s 1483, 1524, 1316). I emailed [email protected] and received a message in less than 2 hours from Kurt Randall. I could choose from BA Old Ruffian, BA Hibernation or a check in place of infected bottles. GD is a class act, IMO and have a customer for life.

Minneapolis Town Hall should take some notes from Great Divide's playbook, rather than coming up with excuses.

    Thanks Great Divide!
