Cool, thanks for the update. Love the proxy/no proxy idea to give the locals who are giving y’all most of your sales right now.

 

Yeah, nice to see they're still tinkering with limits and proxies. I'm like a mile from the brewery, and the current situation with online releases is the only way my schedule lets me have a crack at some of these bottles. Under normal circumstances, I'd never have a chance at some of this stuff. A little selfish, I know, but still a silver lining.

 

That was only 1 of the 7 coconut additions we did

 

Just don't drop it at 10 am on Monday. That's the Casey drop. 10:05 is okay though!

UPDATE on opening hours:

Brewery is open for curbside delivery M-F 4-7 PM, 12-4 Sat/Sun

The Cellar is closed for now

 

I’m also a mile away. Dogtown.

In normal times I’m the proto rando guy that’ll drop $60 at SP on a Tuesday but get shut out of a release because the very idea of waiting in line for beer gives me douche chills.

Online access gave me hope!

Queue sh**lord proxies.

I was lucky enough to visit Cantillon in 2012. Russian River in 2013. I now live a mile from SP! I am thankful that their every day on site offerings rival anything from Cantillon or RR. (Normal times)

Those folks are efficient at Side Project curbside pick-up! I drove down from Chicago yesterday and got there right at noon. I must have been 3-4 cars back on the street (in line), right about to turn into the parking lot, and thought 'damn, this is going to take a while.' However, to my pleasant surprise, it was probably 5-10 mins total. Those ladies were hauling boxes full of beer like on an assembly line. Very efficient.

Hauling boxes and boxes of heavy bottles will get tiring pretty fast. Those workers earned every penny of every tip they got, and deserve a good bit more.

 

You can, just report the first post and ask how you want it modified. Mods can update it very easily. And thanks @OakvilleKGB for those two posts in a locked thread from 2018. Out of how many over the years? Makes sense though, when some users don't read a thread for years at a time, for that to define an entire history. Not the hero we need, but the hero we deserve!

What's humble pie got to do with anything here, now? I've already admitted, happily, and will continue to, that I'm not eternally positive. Do you want to take this outside of the thread and talk about it further? Seems like it's of great concern to you.

I never said I didn't make negative statements, but again, that is not "the record" on me, when the record consists of more than 2 posts from 2 years ago. Or does that not make sense to you? Further explaining needed? And further discourse required, in this thread? I can happily oblige, but I wouldn't think an adult would need such hand holding. Considering you're also 2 days behind here as well, maybe ya do. I'm sure the others would love for this to be expanded upon.

I'm not going to walk anything back either, if that's what you intend. Do I seem embarrassed? I like to be blunt when I have a criticism. Some people clearly don't like that. There's nothing out of line or aggressively offensive about it. But how much have I really criticized here? @OakvilleKGB as my keeper of historical record, feel free to document further. And also, weigh the other side as well, plus the neutral. I'm sure you'll take the time out of your Sunday to do so.
