Drinking a Whale Watching now. It’s great. Lot of hops in it and they all shine.

 

Got a 4 pack of whale watching from Gowanus location. Super solid!

I still feel like there’s room for improvement for COVID purchasing - I don’t know what that is but it exists

 

The only way they can improve on delivering beer right to your house is if someone comes into your house and pours the beer in your mouth for you (while wearing PPE of course).

Got my finback order, and gotta agree with this. I wish I got more than 1 4 pack.

 

Yeah I’m a big fan. Got 3 x 4 packs in total. What I wish though is that I hadn’t listened to hot take hype boi (won’t say his name but it rhymes with arghthisbeerack-proctology) hadn’t persuaded me to buy a 4 pack of fields of tall grass. Although as I understand it, it was great straight off the bat - it now tastes like a coconut went out on the piss, had ten pints of carling and a lamb vindaloo, and then took a shit in a beer can.

 

There's definitely something a little weird about it.... so you're saying that giving it time isn't going to help? I wished I'd stocked up on Whale Watching, too.

Hahahaha, i was intrigued by the early reviews, but I actually went to the Cerebral Brewing in Denver and the results were....not good to put it nicely.

I had a 4 beer flight of IPAs which all had > 4 on untappd and i don’t know the standards of Denverites but they were some of the worst beers I’ve ever had, honestly would rather drink Bud Light my entire life over any selection of Cerebral beers, so yeah that one was a non-starter.

 

Man, Fields of Tall Grass might be the most crushable 8%er I've had in a while.

 

I want to know that you’re not joking here. If someone else loves this, it will bring me good that I can knock down the last 3 cans.

 

I crushed 2 tonight. I love this beer. The coconut has definitely become more forward as it's aged, but it's tasty af

 

Are you guys talking about Ultimate Beats or is Fields of Grass also a coconut beer?

 

Fields of Tall Grass has Sabro aka synthetic coconut

 

Coconut divides a room, I like coconut so I like sabro, I have friend who hates coconut so I will never bring any sabro IPAs over when we watch a game.

 

Compartmentalized is such an amazing beer. I have some Whale Watching and Aqualung on hand but I just want another Compartmentalized lol
