I wanted that puzzle anyway so looks like a visit to HA is in my future

Ordered some Benthic immediately after @Raj posted...a seamless pickup process. Can't wait to order again!

Grabbed some beers from Half Acre yesterday: A Riot of Color, Fader and a growler of Space. Then I saw that today they are releasing Space in cans for the first time... ever? (I think they released it in bottles once, maybe 5+ years ago at this point).

Guess I'll be making another trip today for the cans. I absolutely love Space. It is one of those original favorites for me and a sentimental top 5. I love the citrusy front, with that bitter, drying feel at the end (the 'end' that I mention is familiar to many who've been drinking Half Acre IPAs for some time).

Space isn't a hit with the new-age exclusively haze-broz fans, but it's a good one if you want a classic bitter Half Ace IPA. Always brings me back to when and why I got into craft beer.

I enjoy your tribute to Space. I could never get into Space, and this predates haze. It tasted like an industry clone of an average ipa to me, nothing special, nothing made me want to drink it. I'd go into HA and they'd have so many more hoppy options that made me wonder why those weren't the regular beers over Space.

A few of my friends aren't enamored by it either and wonder why I always rave about it. I guess it's just that right combo of fond memories, flavor preference and being a Half-Acre fan.

This is the correct by-line and story about Space. 1000+ miles away and I've already arranged for a true Chicago hero to get some cans for me, and to ship. I won't rat him out - but he knows who he is.
Space is the beer that brought me back to beer. Cheers.

I love Space, I wish it made sense for me to drive all the way into the city for a 4 pack of IPA.

Damn I was really excited when I saw your post and they are already sold out of Space cans. Oh well...

Not showing sold out right now, maybe they'd just put it up / didn't have any stock yet?

I thought Space IPA was in cans last year.

or maybe it was just Deep Space.

It seems like those Space cans sold out pretty fast. I think they were available only last Thursday (for a time) and Friday (for a time) before being 'Sold Out'. Just wonder if the run wasn't big or if it really sold out fast anyway. I was able to score a couple of 4packs but I know a couple of my friends missed out. We just all didn't expect it to sell out so quickly.

Space in cans, even if it was only once, was an old school treat! If I were a betting man I’d say it will probably be canned again (though I have zero insider knowledge).

Or were they just getting rid of kegs of space by canning it?
