    Spidey, good points.

But, my gripe is still with Boston bro (from New Jersey?) stating that ‘SN is moving product in PA’. This is such a bad assumption based off of no factual information that I had to call it out and will continue to call it out until facts are provided.

SN prices are higher in PA and consistent with local craft beer prices. We also seem to rarely find any of their beers fresh (I might look like 3-4 times a year, but it’s normally old stock). I would never make an assumption with those 3 points combined in the current state of craft beer and the support local ideology that SN is moving product in PA.

Last but not least, wouldn’t our beer be fresh if SN was pushing their product in PA?

Ya, from everything I read on here I would assume that PA is not a great market for sierra nevada. It sounds like its probably a rough market for any national brand that isn't semi locally based. I just think it's also not a super important market for their overall success as a company and that they would rather not rock the boat with their partners in the state.

And I wish I could read a thread about a Sierra Nevada beer without the chorus providing a PA price report

Is there any information talking to how much beer a brewery sells by state? That would be interesting to see.

    Enjoy

I've created a new thread to deal with that very issue:

I just got the mixed SN case for $23 at Costco. Heck of a deal!

For comparison, also picked up the mixed case from Lake Front @ Costco and that was $27. Lake Front has three different beers in theirs. The IPA, River West Stein Beer and a new to me lager.

So 48 beers for $50. Not bad!

Out of curiosity, what's in the Costco case you picked up? I believe the last one I saw was Pale Ale, Torpedo, 3 Weight, and Hop Bullet.

I've only seen Wild Thing in cans. It comes in bottles as well?

There is a a Summer Can Variety Pack for club stores (maybe this one is a Costco exclusive? That's all I see around me anyway.).

Leave it to a PA guy to get a Sierra Nevada thread back on topic but I just bought a variety pack today. My favorite kind, twelve beers, six different kinds. A touch longer in the tooth than I would have preferred but 12 beers for $20.13 was too good to pass up.

Everything was packaged the first week of February. The box was packaged in March. Flip side, 3 weight and Torpedo were all fine. Haven’t tried the SNPA or the Hop Bullet.

That's solid, SN beers last a long time. I opened a few nearly two year old Torpedos last week (kept refrigerated) and they were still really good.
