New BL commercial-subtle dig at craft beer?

    I've missed it completely if it's there and I've seen that commercial plenty. What exactly are you referencing?

    I found the commercial hilarious because cooking with BL is probably the last thing a chef wants to do, yet he was taking it so seriously. I probably would've liked it if it made more sense than "fridge of BL! Party!" like every one of their ads in the end. They just threw a chef in to make it somewhat different. I liked the one with the dog that just came out, but only because of the last 2 seconds where they advocate adopting rescued dogs.

    In the same vein..... whenever I see the Miller Lite "beer competition winner" winner commercial i'm not sure what to make of it.... is it mocking the idea of beer being in such a competition, as if the idea is elitist or snobbish, or is it being serious? The tone seems a bit muddled to me, but then again I just might not be very perceptive.

    I know, it's a stretch, but the notion of "hey look at these foppish molecular gastronomists making foams with bud lite that's weak" kind of came through to me. Although anything to do with Food network these days has nothing to do with artisanal anything.
