I'll be patiently waiting for some more Simcoe or Mosaic only IPA's to get canned again.

The fluidity of the website's in stock and out of stock is confusing. It appears everything gets refreshed around 1pm.

OH dropped all the new beers including stout pack at Lake Ronkonkoma on LI, and those jokers posted an IG store of the line seemingly bragging....i just can't.

Thats crazy! Attracting any kind of crowd even with social distancing is irresponsible for a beer release. All those people are marching in lock step in a very confined area.

This is Lake Ronkonkoma Beverage you guys are talking about. You’re kidding me right? What else would you expect from them? I wouldn’t take FREE Other Half from that store.

Lol at the comments disabled on that post too. Kinda like posting a hollow apology in “my story” instead of genuinely meaning it.

update: Delivery came today and they texted me to let me know they had dropped it off in my lobby. I asked if they had a Venmo since I messed up the tip and was able to send them money. All is right.

Laced in space is a very solid beer. I don't get the "notebook paper" but I also don't get pure pineapple-ish galaxy either...maybe a bit green on the back end, but, very tasty.

Pardon my obvious ignorance but how have they been distributing cans for so long? I just assumed anyone outside of Brooklyn was muling or had kegs up until they recently began can distribution.

I honestly don’t know. I think they were muling for awhile, posting on IG about “their favorite beers from Brooklyn” and charging $8 a can but at some point they must have worked out an arrangement because they started not being ambiguous about it and also dropped the price to $5-6 a can. I don’t follow them and I won’t spend a dime there after the Root + Branch debacle, which I will not rehash. Let’s just say they lost my business which sucks because I used to go to the old location back in the day every now and then.

This right here. They probably bought so much beer from Other Half and sold it illegally, their production was rewarded by them getting beer from OH without the muling. Let’s face it, between the mules and traders OH has built a grey market distribution system without having to provide a cut to a middleman.

Laced in space is awful. This taste like butter. That is all.

Yeah, it's definitely it's own distribution of sorts, though Andrew has mentioned they have the distributor license they need to be able to resell cans from new york state brewer. Nevermind all the out of state stuff they get though.

If we're being totally honest about the out of state stuff, I'd spend $7-10 on something like a Julius every now and again at a local spot AND go there more frequently to check if they have those in. (Obviously just so I can keep saying tree house sucks though). It just sucks LR is such crappy people.

I got the space diamonds canned on 4/17 and it was an absolute drain pour. Tasted like vegetables

I blacked out and ordered it but managed to snap out of it just as I was clicking on Apple Pay. Close call. Now I’m drinking a Homespun served at 51.3F
