B.United/OEC has canned Schlenkerla Helles and Marzen, now it’s time for a delivery!

I'm not going to get too excited because in the past when they increased production they also increased purchase limits and it ended up being kind of a wash.
However, it is pretty wild that they are actually able to expand right now while, I am sure, other breweries are struggling. Good for them.

Only snark, surl and scoff. Does that count?

Expected and accepted. Great monosyllabic alliteration, by the way.

Anyone else try the Schlenkerla Marzen cans? I had two cans tonight and it was a thick, meaty choker, nothing like I recall from kegs of yore. Concerned about the Helles now...

It isn't absurdly affordable anymore and I think Headway is better. Having said that, I haven't been to CT in two months.

I'm a big fan of Foley Bros....but at $20 per 4pk. they really have to start dating their cans. Until then I mostly pass. Paid $7 for a can that had a lot of sediment from a recent delivery.

Saw May 7th canning of Frost Research Series DIPA this weekend.

pieces of eight was like $22. still does not beat dragon fandango by TG, but definitely expensive.

frost DIPAs were $16-$17. mine were dated 4/27.

Its a shame how they have the craft beer drinker "trained" that the "shiny and new" products in the market are worth $20+/4pack

Especially since this stuff isn't new to Massachusetts and debuted at a similar price there but has already come down some.

    Amen.

I can't stand the 16oz. 4pk. format.....less beer, higher price for the most part.

CT. shelves are starting to look like kiddie land with all the never ending wacky colored juice bomb labels.
    Variety does not exist here.

It’s better to visit certain breweries (CW, FF, NEBCo) for freshness and variety.
