Twin Elephant Brewing Co. (2020)

Sorry I’m a bit late. It dropped tonight and sold out already.

 

I'm digging the hop combo of the All Together beer. Gonna pick it up tomorrow.

 

Damn, I though it would drop tomorrow and missed it (again) lol

 

'Great God Almighty" I got in and am picking up 2 4packs on Wed, 2PM

 

got 2 4pks to pick up wednesday... I'm interesting to see how this comes out. I just had the Kane version and it was good but definitely a pretty run of the mill hazy.

 

it'll be a good beer.. it's just that the OH recipe is a pretty simplistic IPA that allows for most breweries who don't have hop hookups in yakima to brew; most breweries are sticking fairly close to the script on this so the only variations really come down to water and yeast. While TE does a hazy well - this recipe isn't going to be a stand out in their offerings. it'll be good - don't get me wrong, but definitely glad proceeds are going to a good place and I only grabbed 2 4pks.

 

Good point there. I'll be interested to see what everyone thinks.

 

So out of 3 All Together beers that I had ( Carton, Bolero and Twin Elephant), TE takes the 3rd.

 

meaning 3rd place? Just had one. It's still pretty green being canned yesterday (like all their beers when fresh). I dug it more than the Icarus (only other one I've had). Got more of the Sabro as it warmed. I think it'll benefit from a week or two as well, but yeah - not like OMG this is TE's best beer or anything - but still very solid.

 

It looks like they just listed 3 new can releases Nosh Cirta & Vic Secret, Lil' Shimmy Ye with added flavors and Saga Continues, an IPA

 

oh shit the Mango, pineapple, and vanilla bean LSY is amazing, I recall that from their one anniversary party.

3 Can releases in a week would be awesome. Wonder if they are forgoing crowler fills for cans?

 

I was wondering with the anniversary coming up if they'd do the mango... nice

 

oh shit, that Nosh looks awesome..Citra & Vic Secret. I'm literally gonna have to set an alarm on my phone every 15 minutes for the next week so I don't miss this one.

I held off on the Icarus deliveries today so I can hopefully stock up on TE. Fingers = crossed

 

or just create a dummy instagram account, follow twin elephant and enable notifications. especially since they mixed it up last week and announced on saturday instead of sunday.

 

I have notifications currently enabled and still missed it..perhaps if they were the only account I followed

wonder if they do the drop on the anniversary date? think it was tomorrow or the 7th

They've made the Nosh with Citra Vic Secret before (draft only), but it was really good.

 

I just grabbed fresh Alchemist Focal Banger and Heady Topper at BK, and still have last 3 TEB release cans among other things... if they drop 3 cans I'm in trouble... lol..

 

Regular notifications or "post notifications"? Like I get random Instagram notifications; but I have post specific notifications on for Twin Elephant and Troon. they usually come in within a minute of either of those breweries posting.

 

I’ve had Troon posts hit, literally gone right to the page to order and still have it sold out. That’s crazy. I know TE doesn’t go that quickly at least.
