Agreed. Every bit as good as last year. Liquid doughy biscuits and cereal with an earhty, grainy finish that lasts forever.

Hazy 8 cans showed up in Columbus. Dunno when, but I stumbled across them at the store while making a grocery run today. Nice little surprise.

New Hazy IPA called Groovy Juice dropping tomorrow at the beer hall. 6 packs and boxes so almost 100% going to be distributed.

Surprised about Groovy Juice, thought that Hazy 8 was gonna be their "hazy" release they had hinted about. Wonder if either/or are sticking around seasonally, one-time drop, year-round?

I got a sixer of Groovy Juice. Just finished a can and it's really nice. I think Hazy 8 is overall a bit more impressive compared, but I personally dig the lower ABV of Groovy. Really nice tropical fruit notes, balance is really nice. Doesn't finish sweet/cloying or anything, but not as resinous or harsh as their west coast options of course. Curious how it evolves with future batches, as it seems Matt Cole wanted to make some tweaks per the interview.

Really tasty beer. Now, I just wish they would take a break on the hoppy stuff and give us some more German options! Hopefully Mill Stream (or whatever) is on it's way... Wouldn't mind a nice Pils, either...!

Yeah, I wish they were piloting pilsners instead of hard seltzer’s right now. But the hoppy stuff has been :fire: so no complaints here, especially if it helps keep the boat afloat.

Speaking of NE IPAs - anyone try the Whatevs NE IPA that they have on tap at North Olmsted? 10 bucks for a full growler that includes the recyclable plastic growler. They also have D-Vice Dunkle, Starlight Lager, Boogaloo Belgian Blonde, Kolsch, Prohibition Pauly Porter, and Irish Ale at the same price.

The Groovy Juice logo looks a lot like their Hop Fro logo that was supposedly going to be canned a few years ago. In any case, it's a good enough beer and FH's has been a goto for restocking my beer fridge the last couple months

Yeah it’s the same logo - they said it was too good to not use again.

Bring back 2x Touch of Green. That stuff was "fire".

Finally made the 35 minute trip down to Middleburg and picked up some of the 2X Bonehead and Springfest. So worth the trip.

Cracked one while playing golf on Wednesday. Had to take a double take at the label, it was so hoppy. Great beer!

Anybody see Groovy Juice out in the wild? My regular shop, which gets most everything, never saw any.

Where are you? Mack’s in Parma posted it on May 12th and Circle A in North Royalton posted it on May 13th.
I am not sure if either still has it, but I will most likely stop by Mack’s today and could look for you.

Thanks for offering to look but I'm in Lorain County. Sounds like a good beer but not drive to Parma good.

Gotcha. It was OK. I’m not a big fan of hazy IPAs, and really bought it more for my daughter. That being said, I thought it was in the lighter side of hazy.

Much more available this week. It’s year round from what I’ve been told. So not super rare. They just have to get caught up. I didn’t like it as much as Hazy 8. That said, a buck cheaper for a 6 (as opposed to hazy’s 4-pack) it’s a great value! Any news on if or what the metro-parks beer will be? Wonder if they might put the kabash on that project due to recant events.

I liked groovy juice over 8s, but I much rather they stick to crisp clean IPAs, why bother with the hazy when it's not your wheel house. Danklin was awesome.
