I’ve emailed and they answer quick the two times I emailed. Sorry don’t have direct answer but that should get you one pretty quick.

They do. When you order, you have to state in the order notes that *name of person* will be picking up your order.

Modern Gulpie looks so bomb. Very tempted to stop by St. Oner’s and pick up a pack since it’s only 20 mins away........hmmmmm

It’s solid. Their pilsner/lager game is underrated.

Such as well rounded brewery. When they do decide to make stouts once in a blue moon, they always knock it out of the park

despite making their name off a gimmick beer like milkshake IPA, they kill almost any style they touch. JB4 and the rest of the brew team are legit talented

The only thing that stinks about Gulpie is the price. The beer itself tastes fantastic.

Yeah TH has never really been very wallet-friendly at all. I think Helles Other People goes for, what, $15? Top class helles though so it’s not like you aren’t getting quality. Anywhy, as long as they’re taking care of their people fairly I don’t mind spending a couple extra bucks.

TH def price gouges but I’ll always support because it seems like they invest right back into the brewery and the employees are well taken care of. They also do other things like the TH volunteer corps, minority internship program, etc.

Right. That’s what my garbled comment was supposed to imply :beers:

Surprised Ouriserva is still sitting. Very surprised there’s only like 15 UT checking. Any evolution/variant of saisonhands has been a banger

I wasn’t sure how long it would last with the popularity of Dudley Direct, so I went out of my way on Wednesday to scoop a bottle. I liked last year’s vintage. Probably won’t open it for at least a few months.

If you were looking at UT to help decide if you wanted to get one, I would urge you to go pick up a bottle. I opened one over the weekend and enjoyed it so much I am going back for more. Its a fantastic beer I think I enjoyed it more than the first batch.

Why do you say "gouges"? It seems more like they're charging a premium price for a premium product.

Second this. After trying one of the three I picked up from the Ferm the weekend it dropped, I couldn't help but order 4 more via Dudley delivered.

Good to know about the Ouriserva. I typically try to order beers I haven't had before, but the first iteration was really good so I'll definitely make an effort to grab the new one.

Tired Hands' regular/repeat IPAs (that I can think of right now) ranked:

    11. High Road
    10. Technicolor Splendor
    9. Pineal
    8. Alien Church (normally)
    7. Refreshing
    6. We Are All Infinite
    5. Wish Fulfillment
    4. Grassman
    3. Alien Church (when it's really good)
    2. Punge
    1. Oblivex

    Excluded Shakes as well.

It is 'interesting' to see Alien Church listed twice in the above list. I agree with this decision since I too have noted 'variability' with the quality of Alien Church batches but for completeness for other brands as well.

A situation of varying batches of hops? Some good batches of (insert hop variety here) and some batches of poorer quality?

    Cheers!

Tastes are completely subjective (that's why we are here, after all) but I'd swap spots with Grassman and Refreshing. I'd also like to see Death Tripper in there somewhere, I'd put it in my top 5 but then again my TH experience is considerably less than yours (and probably most people reading this)

I'd love to see a "Top Shakes" list....I've only had a handful over the past few years (Orange Lazarus, Maple Coconut Lemon, Passionfruit Lychee Coconut, Yuzu Calamansi Jasmine...probably a few others that Untappd is not pulling up)

Subjective indeed I think my favorite regular I had was high road. Haven’t had it in who knows how long but I remember enjoying it a lot when I did, and alien church.

I've only had some of those once (namely the ones towards the bottom). Death Tripper is a good call, forgot about that one!

As far as Shakes go, Double Calamansi is my favorite. I could be forgetting some good ones though.
