dude trust me I would love nothing more

however I bought that most recent box of Suarez bottles (you know the ones - that as I sit drinking them in my traditional Franconian 12th century beer-drinking leather jerkin, will evoke tastes such as oak wood fire-roasted mutton, braised rainbows, smouldering cockatoo feathers - just stupid crazy balance) and smokeshow will not let me spend more than $120 a week on beer

Just opened a can of the 6th Anniversary IPA and...wow is it tasting amazing! Very smooth, almost velvety, with no burn at all. Cannot taste the 10% and goes down really smooth.

I was expecting it to "age" well as almost all OH triples need 3-4 weeks, but was not expecting it to be this good three months out.

Biked 20 miles in the rain to Centre St. and back, half the way with a backpack full of ACE and All Together. A few emails, a Zoom call and it's going to be beer o'clock. I earned it, baby!

    Enjoy!

Report back on how this batch of ACE tastes, hoping at some point it returns to its former glory.

Just cracked open my bottle of Still Kooks. Maybe it's because I haven't been drinking a whole lot since life got crazy, but holy shit that's a disgusting beer. At this point all Other Half pastry stouts taste like some weird cola/chocolate syrup hybrid with (insert adjuncts here).

Had to drainpour after 3 sips and crack open a Miller Lite to return to normalcy. The entire ordeal reminded me of a bizarro version of that Seinfeld scene where Jerry asks Newman to eat a piece of broccoli at Kenny Rogers' Roasters and Newman has to take a shot of honey mustard to get the taste of a vegetable out of his mouth.

Next big beer purchase is gonna be a Suarez delivery based off of today's experience. Color me shell-shocked.

I didn't think it was disgusting but really the only thing I got was just sweetness, didn't taste any of the treatments. The Kane Stout was the best of that release by far although I haven't cracked the BA ones.

sipping my second can of hdhc green city - big overripe tropical fruit nose, very flavorful, steers clear of sweet, nice bitter finish. not sure it's a step change vs. the original but that's obviously okay

Hilarious feedback on these stouts. I get why people try them especially when there's a collab with a reputable stout maker, but you def gotta go into that bottle looking for a shot of sugar or else you'll be super disappointed. Honestly with the description alone I'm not sure you wouldn't piss off way more people if it weren't liquid diabeetus.

Agree with @Feaor on HDHC Green City. It's delicious but I don't think it exceeds the other variants in a meaningful way, but maybe some time will change that? At this point though based on the other HDHC variants I've tried I don't think anyone should go out of their way to get an HDHC beer.
