Agree 100%. I haven't had it since they joined up with Strange, but Green Man used to aways hit the spot for me. It’s up their with Hogshead’s Gilpin Black Gold as a local beer I’d love to see packaged.

Cannonball Creek collab'd with Liquid Mechanics. It's a WCIPA called "Cartel." In cans. Go get it now.

    4 Noses Revised Copy (neIPA)
WW Many Splendored Thing DIPA both quite solid, though I lean 4 Noses...

Oh, and if you haven't revisited Station 26 Bang Bang DIPA, 9.2% - it's worth it, for you "bigger Pliny the E" fans - this one has a resinous/pine "bark" and bite that I really enjoy.
Reminds me of the recent Cumbre/PP/MT collab, Big West (same 9.2% too)

Wow, this thread has gone dormant. You'd think with the panic, people would have stocked up.
IN any case: Weldwerks a minute of perfection is worth every effort IPA. 6.6%. Galaxy, Sabro, and El Dorado hops. Tropical and fluffy as is their style. GET IT it's great!

I got some of the Cameo on Saturday at Comrade. I liked it, but wasn't necessarily blown away by it like some folks. Tasted pretty close to Outer Range's hazy IPA's to me. That's not a bad thing, but I lean more in the WW or Epic style for hazies at the moment.
I still like a little more sweetness in that kind of beer. I'm cool with bone dry IBU-laden hop bombs, but I like what sweetness does for new school and hazy items.

It would be pretty neat if Comrade and S26 joined forces and made Super Banger... a hybrid of 2/3 of my favorite Colorado IPAs

Latest ORB In the Deep Steep DDH DIPA (Motueka) is worth driving for, trading for, or killin' for!
    BE ADVISED.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone have an aversion to Sabro hops? Lately I've been noticing in some IPAs I'm getting almost a "band-aid" or "medicinal" flavor note, which I've been able to pinpoint to beers with Sabro hops. Supposedly they impart a "mint" flavor, which I think is what I'm picking up.

Sabro in large quantities is dominated by Cedar. It’s so overpowering. I’ve never picked out the bandaid or medicinal personally.

I think the hop has amazing potential but I think it needs to be used differently or in different amounts than the standard “banger” hops. They are insanely powerful hops. Smelling a freshly opened bag is crazy. To me they’re more powerful than Galaxy even. The hop aroma is nothing but tropical fruit but in beer the woody and herbal notes tend to be pretty strong. Still haven’t had a Sabro beer that I thought was amazing. They’re all interesting but have aspects that make them less desirable usually.

Forklift Elevator from 4 Noses is excellent. Best IPA I’ve had from there and up there with Weldwerks.

Had some great IPAs recently, the highlight being Outer Range I Miss Loud Taprooms. Probably my favorite beer I've had from them.

That and 2-3 week old half-racks of Odell IPA from the grocery store. Always tastes amazing.

Not new or exciting for some/most and I have probably said it before in one of the earlier 6,000+ comments in this thread, but for a widely available and affordable beer, Crooked Stave IPA is fantastic.

I would agree. However something seemed a bit different about the last 6ers I had (was a while ago). Can was dated early January (prolly grabbed them later that month) and it was actually pretty clear and didn’t have the aroma or flavor that I had associated with the hazier cans. Even found a can dated from November in the back of the fridge that I cracked next to it. Even a few months older can looked like I had expected it to look and was much more flavorful and aromatic. Been drinking a lot of this beer for a while now and these are the first cans that seemed dramatically different than previous batches. Felt like it was an intentional change in the product and not a one off mishap.

Lots of breweries make significant tweaks to their existing beers (especially IPA's) so it wouldn't be a shock if CS did it. Sometimes it's just what's trending, other times it even comes down to what hops are available at the time or who's running the kettles.

For what it's worth, I really like CS's IPA, but I haven't had it in a little while. My closest store (Chambers) seems to rarely have fresh cans for some reason. At the stores where it IS fresh, I usually go with Melvin or La Cumbre instead.

I am aware of the potentially frequent changes or tweaks made in commercial beers whether they are intentional or not.

However this seemed like a wholesale change in the brand, like a yeast change.

Anyone poured any fresh CS IPA into a glass recently? Wondering if it’s hazy or clear(ish)....

Agreed. Something strange in the last 2 six packs from CS IPA - taste was off.
