Inventory is very finnicky. I've noticed many times where beers drift in and out of stock, and sometimes the beers listed don't match the IG posts or vice versa. At one point I noted the weekday inventory was reset more or less around 1pm but these limited drop beers don't follow that logic. Suffice to say you gotta check often if you're looking to do curbside. Its probably easier for me given the short commute but if you're coming from a distance it sucks.

 

Yeah my guess is that although they overtly say the collab/limited stuff is released in waves, there’s prob something similar happening with most/all beers. Plus curbside orders being set up but never followed through on. Ditto delivery. Also reallocating between the two. I think overall they’re doing a solid job with it all

 

They posted the release schedule when they announced Spacey Bits. It looks like inventory is updated at 1pm. Placed an order for a 4 pack of Spacey along with a pack of Diamond Reflection because I haven't had it yet. Ordered at like 1015 and the bike delivery showed up around noon. I don't live far but I'm quarantined while I wait for my test results.

Gonna be some time before I start drinking again, but has anyone tried the latest batch of Reflection? Also curious as to what people are tipping on bike delivery? I felt kinda bad I couldnt tip the guy in cash, I just hope the tip on the website actually goes to the dude bringing me beer.

I know the feeling re: cash tips. I never trust any company be it Square, GrubHub, or Caviar will effectively dole out tips after base pay or not take a cut but it's the safest and preferred method right now. If you're waiting for a test result surely you did the best you can safely. I know someone else managed to Venmo after order so if you are terribly concerned - where there's a will there's a way.

The problem with virtual beers with a buddy, is you can't share the triples. Triples in small cans would be great for these times.

 

Am I the only reprobate that finds it easy - easier than ever given the current circumstances - to crush a triple no problemo?

 

Define "no problemo". Given the amount of drinking above my pre-quarantine level happening, my tolerance for the high ABV has creeped up, but conversely, with excessive inactivity my ability to burn off the calories has plummeted.

Also insta stories shows that the bike delivery zone has “updated to 2 mile radius” but shows the same graphic from the original bike delivery post - so unsure what’s going on there

 

Yeah I drink an AGE last night while I was hanging out on my front porch/prepping dinner and I drank it quicker than I thought. Had me wondering why I felt like I had a few beers and then realized I just drank a 10.5% beer in record timing

Jesus in the middle of all this we now have to try and decipher wtf the difference is between this and double mosaic dream

Ha! even still, after the all strata everything big-statement newbie, I'm psyched to try this one.

I'm on my last can of lACEd in space and this has done quite the 180. Papery aftertaste is gone and flavor is much less muddled. I know the general consensus is two weeks out makes a big difference on a lot of DIPAs but I never noticed it this drastically before. This is like ACE on the nose and SD/citra taste. @dhaakon i totally taste that butter thing too, but i kind of like it.
