Thanks. The sauce underneath is red and yellow pepper, onion, garlic and basil in crushed tomatoes simmered to the point of obliteration lol. I hand cut everything.

"The Mid-Cities" between Ft Worth and Dallas not too far from DFW where I worked for 30 years.

 

Mom's meatloaf, I roasted the sides lol. She's 78 and still feels the need to feed her middle aged kid, gotta give her some props. Although, I had to add habanero hot sauce to it, don't tell her.

 

Time for a Lone Star.

 

Awesome dish. The beer is not too shabby either. If my wife prepared the dish, I would eat the whole thing in one seating. She would stop me.

Battle Creek from Triple Crossing. I've been dissapointed in a lot of the IPAs I've had from NOVA breweries, so I got some shipped from Richmond.
I first had this beer about 2 and a half years ago and it was the best all mosaic NE style DIPA I had had up until that point. It still tastes fantastic, glad to see Triple Crossing is still putting out fantastic beers.

Oh yes indeed. This is meeting and exceeding my expectations. What a beer. This is my first bomber of the FW Anniversary beers. Its exciting times over here

 

Liked it so much I went back for another.



Now I’m trying to figure out this pointy thing.
