QFT. I typically buy direct from breweries when at all possible, though Beer Temple is my second primary spot. Beer on the Wall is close but they don’t refrigerate beer they should (mostly to go singles) so I don’t go there as much. Binny’s is my last case scenario option.

I don’t even consider grocery stores, though would if I could get to a Woodman’s. Their margins, prices and service can’t be beat, likely because they are employee owned and most workers care.

Yeah, I’m not arguing who sells more Revolution. My original point was that places like Target can sell beer cheaper than the brewery’s retail price because of the amount of bulk they buy. So $8.99 for a Rev 6 pack is not necessarily a sale or uncommon.

A large retailer can sell cheaper than most smaller retailers because they can negotiate a discount with the distributor, or use as a loss leader / enticement for customers to come in and purchase additional higher margin products .

However, a brewery can sell at a cheaper price direct to their consumers than any retailer due to the fact they cut out the distributor and retailer. If a brewery plans on relying on off-premise sales, most choose not to undercut their retail partners in order to maintain or grow off-premise sales.

I was expecting a deeper scoop of lactose, but am I am pleasantly surprised. I think it’s solid, and I’ve been backing off HB lately because of the sweetness level.

Good to hear, thanks. I prefer my neipa's more on the bitter side than sweet myself.

Felt like A Deeper Dish was super creamy and hop saturated, booziness is well disguised. There's enough of a hop burn on the back that I'm parking my others for a couple weeks though.

Man, A Deeper Dish flying off shelves. Grabbed the last 4 pack at a second Binnys after going home empty handed from the first.

Damn it. I keep saying I need to cut back on beer a bit. Green Moss is one of my favorites from them.

Missed out on Tavern Cut, but do LOVE Deeper Dish. Would've gladly snagged another 4-pack had I known what was inside the can. A couple weeks to the side and this baby is going to SING!

Note the lower ABV. I believe they also used Belma back in the day with their Weldwerks collab

Deeper Dish is perfectly fine right now, best enjoyed fresh and no need to sit IMO. I’m much less sensitive to ABV then some people, but it does seem surprisingly smooth.

I passed on Preserved because I’m not a huge fan of Sabro. However, my quarenbuddy shared some with me tonight (our wives work together everyday anyway) and I was pleasantly surprised by the hop bite. Good work HB.

I passed on Preserved because to me it was a gross coconut bomb last year.

Dese Dem Dose was kinda weird. Don't really know how to describe it and not sure if I liked it. Pretty flavorful but something felt relly off about the mouthfeel.
