What's on the shelves in Connecticut? (2020)

Not to be snarky but this is CT. I wouldn’t expect to see them anytime too soon. One can hope.

Agreed! I find it ridiculous that you find more CT brewery beers in Mass then you do here in CT!!!

 

Went out to distro yesterday. Would expect deliveries today. Only exception is Fairfield county. That will be next week (picked up before it was ready this week). That beer is a bear to brew. Lots of flaked oats makes for a very slow run-off. It was nice to make 300bbl of Sea Hag this week. Smooth days...

 

Thanks for the response! Eager to try it in Hartford county, I’ll try stores on Sunday. I have some hags to tide me over. Will face hugger be released often in stores going forward?

 

Has anyone tried Dockside yet?
I tried going yesterday, but they were closed for construction.
I haven't heard anything about their beer yet, but living in Milford, I would possibly frequent. Although, I've still not had Tribus.

 

I hear Dry-Hopped Post Shift is making its way to CT. One of my favorite pils. If anyone sees it in the wild, feel free to alert the thread. I'll do the same.

Mosaic Dry Hop Pseudo Sue is available but no leads on DDH Pseudo.

Anyone else get the buttery/Diacetyl taste from their Mosaic Sue? Picked some up in Newington yesterday and along with the taste, it poured clear with a bunch of floaters. I’m a huge Regular Sue fan and this was nothing like it should be.

 

I didn't get diacetyl or floaties but it wasn't very good. I read lots of complaints about the DDH Pseudo from earlier in the year being off as well but didn't get to try that one. I was much happier with Intergalactic Warrior even though it was 2 weeks older than the Mosaic.

 

Picked up some Workhorse (6/8) for the first time in months - clarity is beautiful but I recall it being slightly cloudy. Just my (lack of) memory or did something change at CW?

 

Not sure how many on here drink NA but Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA is fantastic!

 

Any truth to a small drop of Triple Sunshine to select parts of CT? If so, I missed. Also odd if true, never even seen Double Sunshine available in CT.

Wondering if anyone can say how Fat Orange Cat, baby kittens, compares to headway. Seeing baby kittens pop up for a reasonable price, might be competing with headway.
