That would be ideal timing for me if true. My favorite beer HA makes.

I'll let Nachobot do his thing but HA is releasing a previously released Pale Ale today.

I’ve been hoping Smoking Gull would go year round and get distributed. It appears I’ll be driving to HA this weekend

Just stopping in to say I drank my last Catch Hell and I can say without a doubt it is a top 10 beer of all time for me.

The cinnamon works absolutely perfectly with the barrel. I would pay 20 bucks a can for this retail

I have one can remaining, so that’s good to hear. I had one about a month ago and it didn’t seem quite as good as when I originally had it. But my palate could have very well been off.

this Riwaka is giving me a totally different vibe. I’m not getting big sweetness or fruit from it - I’m getting wild spiced wood, slight cinnamon, and savory / herbal notes. It’s awesome and very unique. Bonkers. I got two howlers today.

I had my catch hell can the other day and it was a slugger. Also changed a bunch on the palate as it went from chilled to warm.

This is exactly my impression of Riwaka dominant IPAs. That is all.

Aw man, looks like I have to do another deal with my Chicagoland mole to get some BHA!
That's one of my 3 faves from HA.

*sigh* maybe in Denver? But not here an hour south... maybe this clown can drive an hour if need be, but still... hate I-25 these days. Cheers!

BHA is released curbside Friday. Distro starts next week. New label to boot.

That description of BHA went over my head. Can a smarter beer person describe what London 3 and/or strawberry compote in an IPA would taste like?

London Ale III combined with a well timed dry hopping helps to create haze in a beer. So they might be insinuating that the beer is hazy this year. I imagine strawberry compote in a IPA would taste like strawberries.

Thanks. If this turns out to be right, I’ll never understand why they’d mess with a great thing. They made Dungeons hazy and now maybe making this hazy? Make a new hazy beer if hazy is your goal.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but wouldn't cutting out the filtering process save money as it is one less step in the beer making process? If you can get consumers to embrace an unfiltered beer, your profits go up.

That's a good point. Shorter cycle time would also mean increased capacity over time (they can brew more batches, which means selling more beers which means $$$). It's good strategy, no matter how much I'd prefer they left Beer Hates Astronaut and Dungeons (especially) as they were when they were released prior to the 'haze transformation'.
