Recently dropped $282 on a case of MoaS - $240 for the beer and $42.50 for the S/H. Dropped $250 in one day a while back on a couple of cases of BCBS. I try to keep my purchases to under $40.

 

About 4 years ago I purchased a guy's cellar. He was actually ill at the time, needed money and we had drunk beer together for a while so he came to me first. I'd loaned him some money and he now insisted that he would take no more loans but wanted to sell his cellar. And, if not to me then it was just going to get sold to someone else. So, I bought his cellar. (He has since recuperated; is back working full time but is NOT drinking beer - so, I don't feel too bad).

Anyway, suffice it to say that by today's prices (NOT what I paid) the value would be close to about $15,000. (I can assure you I paid no where near that amount - but, it was a very nice buy, to say the least! (Most of my drinking friends have been the beneficiaries of this purchase and there are still a few bottles left).

Last week I spent 60 dollars on 2 bottles of 2011 BCBS and 2 bottles of 2011 KBS, as well as a bourbon.

I have spent about $150 on a haul over a few days. I did this on my most recent trip to Boston. I just couldn't pass up getting every bottle of Jack's Abby stuff I could get my hands on. I also bought some other things I can't get/don't ever see in my area of New York.

 

If my wife didnt enjoy drinking as much as me, I could see that being the case. But she prefers good whiskey to my good beer. It's only fair that since shes carrying the little spawn and she cant drink I could give up the drinking. It's really not all that bad. It now makes me appreciate the beer more since I rarely have one.

 

Just hit my record of $135. Luckily.getting paid back a little

 

$65 in Florida last summer at Cigar City, Total Wine, Whole Foods, and a few other stores in one day. Plan on doing it again. Might bump it up to $100 this year depending on who gives me Christmas money this year

 

Yesterday in Charleston I spent $225 on BA Blackbeerd bottles at Coast, $15 on bottles and growler fills at Holy City, $15 on bottles at Westbrook, and $125 on bottles at CBX, for a total of $380. Yeah, that was an expensive day.

 

I allow myself to splurge on beer once a year, I normally spend around $60, but during this splurging event its gone as high as $300. I wish my hobbies were cheaper...I could afford more beer!

 

When I was at Russian River I dropped around $350.
