Any idea who Gravely is contract brewing through on their canned distribution? Picked up a six of Power Chord and says Gravely out of Cincinnati... beer tastes fresh and good, just was curious.

I've had Taft's packaged beer and enjoyed it. Nothing wrong with contract brewing as long as it's done with care. Lawson's Sip of Sunshine from up North is contract brewed and everybody loves it.

Agreed, although I'm generally not a fan of breweries that "exclusively" do contract brewing. If a brewery doesn't have a taproom you can go and grab a drink at, it just lacks something, in my opinion.

    Been a blast lately, eh?

Rock House is about to release cans of the Key Lime Pie Gose that was so good last year.

Anyone been out supporting our local breweries? Bought 3 crowlers today at Holsopple. New milkshake Ipa, Coco Loco, is pretty good.

I’ve been to Gravely and Third Turn a couple times. Plan to do the same at Mile Wide. I’ve been hoping the Mexican Mocha would show up somewhere here in Louisville in cans but I have not seen it yet.

So far, I've picked up cans to go from Pivot, Country Boy and Dreaming Creek. I'm trying to go to one per week and restock.

Rock House and Mirror Twin are putting out new cans weekly in small batch. MT is dropping Double Citra Monster next weekend.

Ethereal just started canning last week, and they have been doing regular Unemployment Lime variants on Fridays.

West Sixth just added another day to the curbside schedule.

If you're way out in Eastern Kentucky, grabbing some cans to go from Broken Throne would seem a sound investment from what I've tried so far.

Mirror Twin is one of the breweries I’ve never tried but always been curious about.

Their Monster series has been their best NEIPAs, one after another this year. They also do variants of each, and while they are good, I'm not a fan of filling a NEIPA with fruit, lactose, candy, etc., but that's just my personal preference. I've sent the variants to friends and had nothing but rave reviews.

They reopened, so you can always swing by and pay them a visit.

Since the last time I posted, I've swung by Blue Stallion (my favorite brewery) for a 4-pack, grabbed some beers from Mirror Twin and gotten a growler fill at Turtleback Ridge (VERY off the beaten path, but very much worth the visit).

So Mirror Twin drops Double Citra Monster, Double Tangerine Monster and Black Currant Wheezing the Juice cans on Saturday. I would not expect the Monsters to last more than a few days, if that long. WtJ might last a little bit longer. Might.

Thanks.I’ll try to get over there this weekend. My son and one of my son-in-laws are all bout the fruit beers...I will drink one, but like you, I prefer without.

Was there on Saturday and saw they had both Monsters in the case. First time there, very nice spot!

The Double Mosiac Monster at Mirror Twin is the best haze they've made so far. After they do Double Amarillo Monster, they're going to run them all back at Triple strength.
