When did Genesee start showing up in MN? I saw the Cream Ale at South Lyndale it was the only Genesee that it appeared that they had, but I’ve never seen them here in the past.

 

Right? He clearly doesn't like being bothered by bourbon geeks but then posts super limited bottles on Facebook for the masses. You reap what you sow..

Anyone got any leads on the latest Drekker release deliveries? I keep seeing empty shelves with tags of what was supposed to be dropped this week. Did they come yesterday?

 

I heard from one store a week ago that they Drekker told them they were holding off on doing drops in the metro area at all, until they felt they could safely deliver to everyone. Not sure if that is a factor still or not.

Take that as the second-hand information it is.

 

Dropping in Eagan and Apple Valley today. Back to their regular deliveries according to Twitter.

 

Saw that too, today and tomorrow is when they were going to pick it back up with the Pizza Toots drop among others.

 

Yep they are dropping 5 brews in TC area today and tomorrow. Skipped last Thursday delivery.

 

Central Ave. Liquors had some.

Grabbed some Ectogasm which is always delicious.

Tried the Banana Split Chonk, what a deliciously weird beer. Without a doubt the thickest fruited beer I’ve ever had. Tastes great, but blindfolded I doubt I would ever guess it’s beer.

 

Also bought a 4-pack of this, along with Ecto...

And I agree. Oddly delicious. Whenever Drekker does a drop with the CHONK series, it's almost always the first one sold out.

I really wanted to try the Peanut Butter & Jelly version. Shit is expensive though......

 

That was my first CHONK, peanut butter & jelly is better for tasting in the same vein as pumpkin beers. The first 4 ounces are great, after that the novelty wears off REAL quick.

 

I agree wanted to like it but for me it’s been the only Chonk that was a miss if you call it that... still decent just didn’t want more than a few ozs

 

For Fathers Day? Been seeing Buffalo Trace and BA Darkness ‘20 in stores (TW Roseville,Lyndale) Very Limited in the BT thou at both places.
