$30 for what is likely to be the least enjoyable version of the stout... yeesh. On the other hand that IPA does sound real good

Technically if you want to be turbo pedantic all of those are treatments and not adjuncts but yea I agree, you wouldn't call like Left Hand Milk Stout an adjunct stout.

Does anyone know where the DDH Green City currently available in Brooklyn was brewed, Brooklyn or ROC?

Thanks! The most-recent batch from ROC was great, and I was less impressed by the most recent Brooklyn batch I've had. Please let us know how it is...

I'd highly suggest visiting the UPS store. They'll have what you need.

I went to untappd to see recent space diamonds reviews since we’re all gunshy here, and I saw a post that said one canned May of 2019 (recently checked in) was “perfect”. I proceeded to punch myself in the balls for ever thinking I should check untappd for space diamonds ratings.

So... how’s that Emerald Glow tasting?

I haven’t had Space Diamonds in a while, but I loved the can I just had.

I haven't had OH since around February of this year. I've been a long time connoisseur of OH. This sweet new profile of IPAs that they switched to in October/November 2019 has completely turned me off from them.

I had numerous D96 beers since at least 2 months ago and every single one of their IPAs shits on OH. OH is like 25 minute ride for me but I would rather drive 1.5hrs to D96 and drink their snake juice

Good thing its not a 25 minute drive to the OH forum.

This is the first time I'm hearing about a redone sweet profile /shrug.

Their "classics" are still killing it (most of the time)

After small galaxy around november, everything seemed overly sweet to me. Even the Roc stuff was super sweet to me. It's like the decided to follow their terrible stout routine and just sugar bomb everything.

They do seem to be following a very similar path to what Trillium did a couple years back with their profile change. OH IPAs, to me, both look and taste noticeably different from what they did 6-12 months ago. Darker, not as much haze, and a slightly muted, sweeter flavor. Very similar to what was said about Trillium back then.

I went today and they were offering tequila barrel aged beer slushies - man I don’t know how they teased out such a prominent tequila flavor. Well done!

But that’s because a Milk Stout is supposed to have milk. When you tose a traditional beer style that doesn’t traditionally have tose, to me, it’s an adjunct (an added, extra ingredient not “supposed” to be there). If I go into a beer shop and ask for a recommendation for a traditional RIS, and they suggest a tose beer, I’m outa there.

Anybody drink an Extra Shipper? The hop combination sounds awesome but I'm generally underwhelmed by their collabs. Times like this I miss those taproom pours (and yearn for mixed 4pks).

I'm not hip to the "snake fruit" nickname they use either...

I feel this was a thing for a bit, but majority of what they are putting out now are beers they have done for a while with a few others in there. Everything I have gotten since I have been able to get back to Brooklyn has been pretty good and not overly sweet IMO.
