Opened a Riggs Hefeweizen. This is a great brewery in Urbana Illinois. They do excellent German styles, and this Hefe rivals Live Oak IMO. I'll have to do a side by side soon, before I go through all my Riggs

Spinning I'm With Her. A bluegrass/new grass band of Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz (both among my favorites) and also Aoife O'Donovan. The band formed well before Hillary used that as a slogan for the 2016 election, though I'm pretty sure they didn't mind ha.








I also went to my local used bookstore, as this was the first day they opened since the shutdown. Man, I needed to browse around some dusty old books, and found some gems. With my favorite being a 1966 first edition of Chinua Achebe's A Man of the People.

 

Thats to bad, I really enjoyed A Tout Le Monde, which I think was a Megadeth Saison as well. A really well made, low ABV Saison that was wonderfully tart and fruity.

 

The elusive (non-Foster's) Australian tick...Nomad Brewing's Freshie, a salt & pepper gose. Cheers, BA!

my father traded me four of these for 4 Yuengling porters. These are super dry. Maybe a touch too hoppy for the style but no complaints from me. They will do.

Ripping up this East meets West IPA from a local brewery on an 80 day, boy hits the spot. Cheers all.

 

It's a new beer. Blackstack's DDH 755 is a pretty standard, pretty good NEIPA.

 

I literally feel the same with Philadelphia Pale Ale. It’s always perfect
