Looks like broadlands and Ashburn village are still available. This isn't too surprising. Their barleywines don't get much love. I'm a fan of them but appears I am in the minority.

What are other people's thoughts on their barleywines?

I've only had Ashburn, Corolla and Saco and I would actually rate them in that order. Really enjoyed Ashburn alot, Corolla exceeded expectations by miles and I thought Saco was solid but nothing special. Skipped Nowra and West Chester and only bought 2 Broadlands and a single Ashburn Village from this set of bottles.

I guess Aslin is starting to distribute cans locally, saw some 4 packs of Soaking the Dishes at a Harris Teeter in Ashburn.

Cans were here at a few shops in Hampton roads a few weeks ago also. A lager and 2-3 ipas.

They announced that this is just a temporary thing while their taproom is shut down. I've seen photos of cans reaching as far as Vegas. Now that their IPAs are reportedly trending back toward their better days, maybe this will reinvigorate trade interest for when Aslin ends temporary distro.

Since Norwa and West Chester were both 1/pp, what's the trade value for these bottles? Would the otherhalf pasty stout set (40 degrees, Banana Latte, Pastrinauts) land both?

You would probably get more info on the value of these bottles by asking this same question in the "Trade Value Thread"

I'd say DOS has been good for the last 2 or 3 batches. Runaway Train was pretty good as well. Some of their other IPAs have been off lately. Master of Karate, Master of oranges, and small town come to mind. Hopefully they can keep trending in the right direction and other IPAs start being as good as DOS.

Tried a couple Aslin lagers recently, Much Ado and Fragile Kind, both were pretty good and better than I expected. These need to go in 12 packs fo 12oz cans.

They should focus on making their core beers worth buying again instead of making seltzer’s, had a master of oranges recently that wasn’t good.

I thought the most recent batch of Master of oranges was the best that beer has tasted in at least 6 months. Older batches it was sweet with almost no hop presence. I agree that it would better for me if they dialed in the orange starfishes, master of karate, etc.

Well if you think seltzers are an interesting twist, how about a $30 "wine hybrid." haha.

I didn't realize wine hybrid meant no carbonation until I read the untapped reviews
