has bcbcs or cherry rye hit se pennsylvania yet?

BCBCS yes. At least 1 place had it last week (sold out). Cherry rye I think this week. But not positive.

 

Seems like I may miss these as I'm very lazy about hitting normal bottle shops. Guess we'll see.

 

Where are you getting the info of Cherry Rye release this week? Not doubting you, just curious.

 

a friend who works at a bottle shop. but like i said, he is unsure, as well.

Capones sold their 12 yesterday by way of a raffle. Haven't heard anywhere else in Philly proper selling it yet though Lauren may know more than me.

 

Hawethorne's had Coffee as of late last night. Looked to be several left in the fridge. $27.50 per bottle, one per customer. At that price, I passed.

 

Funny enough, that's not too terrible a price for Philly. Seems to average around $20-$22 in markets that don't suck at pricing like ours.

 

picked up 2 bottles at towamencin beverage last friday, $18 each, which I thought was a good price. a buddy of mine went later in the day and picked up 2 more. they had 1 case total, not sure if any left.

 

jonnyb79, you might want to edit that or delete it just so they don't get into trouble for doing that. Just a thought.

 

Is that a distributor? Or a store?

Also beer heaven got coffee but who knows how much it costs. Probably $30+.

I saw that as well, I'll stop by later this afternoon to check price. My guess is $32.

 

My local store is anticipating having them at the end of next week. They're having a Goose Island tasting event which will include coffee on tap.

 

i just drove past there about an hour ago but passed it up to avoid the temptation. at these prices i'd rather trade with someone for one of each.

I hope the store you are talking about is The Beer Store in Southampton,PA. If so, I fly into Philly at 6pm on friday for the holidays and certainly know where I will be heading to first before I get back to my parents house. Hopefully there will be some leftovers by the time I get there. Doubtful any Cherry Rye will left for purchase .

 

Just to clarify has cherry rye been seen yet, I know coffee is around. The posts don't say if they found the coffee of cherry.
