12oz can, pours a thin light brown/tan. Refreshing, very similar to the Creature Comfort Coriander, Lime, Cucumber Gose from yesterday with less Cucumber. I’m guessing a Gose of some kind.

Taking boxes for target #1 to the post office as we speak. He lives farther away from me. Where are they going? Here’s a clue...

 

Yeah it's an amazing jacket. My wife wouldn't mind me wearing it but I don't think I'd pull it off well. She got me this piece a few years ago from a storyboard artist at Pixar that I like, and then Nicholas Winding Refn signed it when I met him at a film fest.

I got double donged today, as one does. First up was a sanctioned but non-BIF box from @y2kawakami. As many of you know, I'm pursuing a casual quest to drink a barleywine from all 50 states. After some cursory research, it became clear that Hawaii was likely going to be the toughest to tick as not one barleywine had been released for anything but onsite consumption in many years (s/o to @jhavs for the investigation). Folks, Hawaii is going down. Sean was nice enough to send me the barleywine just released by Hana Koa, as well as some other fine goodies. Thank you Sean!


Next up is a Nashville squashing from @Buck89 that, taken together with comments made here, makes me think I am his target. John and @Jimmy_Kneecaps have spoiled me before with Bearded Iris and Southern Grist, so I am beyond excited to tear in to these!

- ink drop imperial stout with maple vanilla and lactose
- Hologram imperial fruited sour with black currant, blueberry, orange zest, and lactose

Maybe Only God Forgives. I liked The Neon Demon a lot as well. I saw a documentary his wife made about their life while he makes movies and he seemed like a pretentious jerk, which is kind of how I'd always imagined him.

I agree on Only God Forgives. Loved it. Had a hard time getting into Neon Demon, along with Valhalla Rising. Otherwise, love em all.
