Okay now I surely don't know what I want. I told larry I am getting back to playing after many years off, I need to think this thru, the martin I want is about 1000$., the Ibanez larry mentioned is cheaper. Thanks for your time.

Christ, glad I didn't have to pay the airfreight on that! Those suckers are heavy! Plus, cranes ain't cheap. Most of the places around here that use them seem to do more the "small" (8-12 inch) personal pies, but a few do use 'em for full size.

After those earlier brews, it was time for a palate reset, so, one of my local go-to brews, Boundary Bay Cedar Dust IPA.

[IMG] Kettlehead Brewing newest Imperial Stout. Canned on 6/29/2020. Pours midnight black on a cloudy Fall evening, with a finger plus mocha head that leaves a few thin lines of lace. 4.5

Smell is cocoa nibs, banana, toffee, caramel, and vanilla. 4.25

Taste follows milk chocolate, banana, toffee, caramel, and a hint of vanilla but really about the chocolate and banana. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above medium, soft carbonation, a touch dry, and at 10.2% ABV goes down rather easy. 4.25

Overall obviously I am a huge fan of this place, my home away from home and am so happy the chocolate stood out more than the banana. I will say the small pour from the brewery have it more life than the can and made it even more thick and complex, but this is a nice Imperial Milk Stout. 4.25

Keeping it simple tonight... Enjoying some solitude on the deck and sippin' on a Yards Heritage Surf IPA... No music on in the backflground, but I'll leave you with this oddball song I recently got my 8-year old into... Cheer
