They must be tapping in to some sort of portion of our psyche that justifies the prices we pay for beer. Beers in bombers that look more like wine are probably, without me realizing it are deemed just a bit more special. And I know the price I'll pay for wine is quite higher than for beer. I guess they're trying to keep it more special and also cut down on bottling costs?

of course we all want packs.

When I was in HS there was a liquor store that sold to us without ID's. I used to kill bombers of Corona without a glass. We would put a few in a cooler and head out to the beach.

Had a store like that as well. Tall boys of Colt 45. But stuff you did in HS [and college, too] doesn't count. Sorry.

To me it depends. Some beers I really only want a single bomber (I split pretty much everything), but some beers lend themselves toward a pack of 12oz bottles.
Usually the strength (either the ABV or the flavor profile) is the major deciding factor for me.
However I like the idea of a 4-pack more than 6. I think that's perfect.

I mainly only like bombers because I justify them as having only one beer and I get to drink more beer when I open one. I'd probably prefer to have two 11/122 oz bottles if given the choice though.

I buy mostly bombers, bc the beer I want to drink typically comes in bombers. Would def buy a 4/6 pack of Abyss, but it doesn't come in a 4 pk. This argument is really a waste of time to me.

Bombers are nice to check out a new beer. You get 2 nice glass fulls for that first taste for less than a six er. Plus, their more convenient and it gives the beer a chance to warm so you get a taste. Allot of bombers aren't available in 6 packs which kinda sucks. I wish Stone would bottle more 4-6 packs.

I guess if you are forced to buy 4/6 packs and can't grab singles and have no one else to give your extra bottles from a 4/6 pack to if you don't like the beer bombers make the most sense. It's just hard to look at a 22oz bottle at $8 next to 48ozs of beer in a four pack for $3-$4 more.

This is my favorite aspect of craft beer. I almost never buy mono-beer 6-packs.

I definitely prefer 4-packs to bombers. You'd think bombers would make for a better value, but it seems that beer sold is 4-packs is nearly always cheaper than comparable beer sold in bombers. Moreover, I do not like drinking an entire bomber of a high gravity beer in one evening (especially if it's during the week). 12-ozers make for more reasonable servings of ``big'' beers.

I'd love for everything to be in dated 12oz cans. Maybe one day.

Just take two 12oz out of the fridge at the same time.

12 oz bottles every time, and individual bottles at that. nice to have just 12 ozs to myself, rather than 22 ozs.
