    DDH Fort Point drank better "off the line," but I'll admit the HDHC I had today beat the DDH. Maybe it's my mood? Hell if I know, but it tastes better balanced today versus when I first had it.

    I'll still pick up other half but I won't have the high hopes I once had when I crack the cans open. They still make better ipas than interboro :wink: We all can agree that their beers don't look or taste the same. Oh has fallen and they can't get up. They just do an amazing job marketing their beers

    /shrug, everybody has a band they liked at one point and then stopped once their sound changed too much. The good times were still good, even if we don't have them together anymore. For me it was AFI.

    AFI, I felt our relationship strain with Sing The Sorrow. We had to part ways after December Underground. I don't even know if you made albums after that. Obv I can go back and listen to what i like, but it isn't the same. We're in different places now.

    It's Metallica for some. Eminem for many. Maybe you're tired of all these from the grave albums "Tupac" puts out (or enjoying the legacy of an artist whose time was cut short). Surely everybody has such a band. Maybe that's just where you're at with Other Half @Justonemore91 . I didn't go on AFI message boards and tell teenage goth kids that Black Sails in the Sunset was their greatest album. Maybe you need to just make your own peace.

    For me, I'm happy with the way Other Half continues to evolve, though I feel the strain in our relationship at times. They do some "creative" stuff now and again because that's what they need to do, but there's still a reliable set of hits they keep playing for me. Hell, if I could mosey down there to get HDHC Canandankua, Hop Showers, and Roc Showers, I'd be quite happy!

    Here are my thoughts after trying these over the weekend.

    HDHC AME: Didn't get to try regular AME but I did like this, very nice.
    HDHC Dream City: This was good, not overly sweet due to to the 'tose and had a bit of a nice hop bite.
    HDHC Hop Showers: I had only 1 can of this so far but mine seemed off, just overly green in a bad way, maybe it was just the can.

    On that note I had my last All Galaxy this weekend and it was the best can I had out of the 4 pack I bought.

    I almost totally forgot I had 2 of these in my fridge, and got inspired by your post to crack one last night, and yea it's great. I'd only had the first batch which I loved, and this definitely held up.

    Might go Wednesday, looking at HDHC dank, hdhc even more citra, DDH SD. Trying to reign myself in and pick up a pils city interboro pack (qualify pils and rothaus, plus a general need to get away from NEIPAs a tad). If you could only pick 2 any opinions? Obviously SD has been questionable. Haven't had the other two (base versions), but did enjoy the small and regular HDHC ACE.

    We're excited to announce a crispy collab with our friends @interboronyc. Available today on Curbside Pickup (link in bio) and for our next few home delivery zones.

    Interhalf Pilsner (4.8%) with our crosstown buds @interboronyc We decided to brew one more tribute beer to our favorite Black Forest lager brewery but with a twist. We brew this with a blend of German and American pils malts and oat malt. We then hop it with Saaz, Saphir and NZ Wai-iti. $14 per 4 pack.

    DDH Ain't Nothing Nice IPA (6.2%) brewed with a combo of pils and Maris Otter malts and hopped with Simcoe, Galaxy, Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo. $18 per 4 pack.

    DDH Southernhopalistic… IPA (7.4%) is all southern hemisphere hop goodness. Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Wai-iti. $18 per 4 pack.

    I like this lineup, wish we'd see some of these in Queens. Interhalf lager was good years back and the other two beers got me a little nostalgic.

    For anyone interested... Had the HDHC DANK. I think it might be the best HDHC I had in terms of balance. I can't believe I'm saying this about a ROC beer but it was worth it to grab over the citra triple I think, since the dank plays off the sweet. Also got the SD and small green (because I couldn't get to interboro but needed something to not die, and of course was too early by an hour for the pils).

    My wife was one of those teenage girls that LOVED Sing the Sorrow and December Underground hahahaha. To this day, one of the greatest things I ever did for her was get her the Davey Havok version of December Underground.
