    In fairness, I think even bad DL variant would fetch you even money on the secondary market.

    I'm thinking more from one's own personal preference, as far as 'bad'. I've had a few of those which, although not terrible, I wouldn't care to drink/seek out again... like French Vanilla Militia '17, Turtledogg, and Brosure.

    French Vanilla Green Peppers 17 really had no redeeming qualities.

    It is one of the few beers I have ever dumped out. Brought it to drink with my Brother on a visit and we both gagged on the first sip.

    I personally can not wait. There are a bunch of combos that are great. Seeing that pallet of 680 Handjees really got me hoping. It’s like having a lotto ticket that you can’t wait to cash.

    Personally, my bottle was amazing. Not as good as 18, and no where near 16, but glad the green peps didn't come for me.

    2017: Conquistador De Muerte is not a Dark Lord Variant, and AFAIK there was no 2017 vintage of that beer, seems more likely this is actually 2017 De Muerte Dark Lord and they just put in the wrong title.

    Makes me think the 2013 Bourbon is a mistake as well.

    I had mine in Aug 2017. I didn’t love it, as it had a fruity tartness from the wine barrel. But I didn’t hate it. I just had higher expectations from it. I didn’t get any of the green pepper blast people complain about though.

    You’re right. And I’m pretty sure I had that bottle (and traded it). That was a hand-labeled bottle with a bottle count.

    I drank a 17 De Muerte in November 2019. It was very spicy. Overall I give it a 7/10
