Exactly, they are pricey. I just want to try one after seeing them around all these years.

Nice offer. I personally think we have hit the time of year where it makes more sense to just wait for the next BTAC drop unless you wanna really “overpay” for a specific whiskey/vintage. Seems like even good offers are going unclaimed because those that get these whiskeys to trade have generally done so, and those that get them to drink have also done some of that. You’re at the point where a potential trade partner is intentionally keeping for future years (drinking or trading) and would need to be overwhelmed by an offer to change his or her mind. Also offered up CBC Maman for Blue Suede Shews + not a single conversation.

 

Plus on the wrong side. Ardea of the past wouldnt go 1:1 with either of those bottles let alone now where im sure there aren't many left. BA AT could probably go 1:1 with anabasis with the right person.
Long answer short, i would guess you need a sizeable plus to close this in 1 trade

Better off 2:1 then. Ba at is climbing after the initial flippers and people arent letting ardea go. Have to overkill to trade up

I feel like you’re most of the way there. While you probably still need something else enticing to get this done, given the retail of the Michter’s 10, I feel like asking you to add for a 2:1 would make the bottle of Willett too pricey, and not a great trade. Here’s a sample 2:2 that sounds about right:
Them: WFE 6 year rye + Endless Ending
You: Michter’s 10 bourbon + St Lamvinus

Most of the top tier DL variants would demand a plus from the BAIGCCS side.

The values of DL variants vary drastically though, really depends.

Yeah if you put a thread out there don't call it ba cupcake stout and just call it BAIGCCS. From what I've seen you should have no problem with a handjee. Recent years of Chemtrail would likely go 1:1. Rari crotchet would likely be pretty close too but likely needing a +. You just don't see a lot of Dark Lord variants being offered up especially 6+ months after the last Dark Lord Days so that's on your side.

 

3 Floyd's just sold off a lot of vintage DL packages with pick ups starting on July 15th, so we will probably see an influx of ISO/FT of DL in a week's time. Per an Instagram post, looks like they released up to an additional 640 2018 handjee.

 

So I have a Sherry Atrial. The most recent mention of it in the trading forums deemed it "basically an untouchable whale." I would like either a bottle of BTAC or a large quantity (1-2 cases) of fresh TH/OH hops. Reasonable?
