    look: 4.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

    Bright yet pale yellow body; nearly hazy with fine carbonation bubbles; thick and sculpted white head, creamy. Soft, fruity aroma infused with a mild light bread scent. Light fruity flavor with a white pepper quality; mild citrus, lemon; lemon bread; well-balanced hop bitterness. Medium body; fine coarseness on the palate; semi-dry with a twinge of fruit sweetness.

    I call this a must-try pilsner. It has great features throughout, drinks very easily, and is very satisfying. The use of New Zealand hops works beautifully with this beer.

    ...Mrs. BeerGoot and I are celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary today. I didn't marry until age 41, and in many ways (much to Mr.s BG's dismay, still have bachelor tendencies), but, overall, it's been a good 22 years...so smoking spareribs for this evening...it's what she wants...it's what she gets...:stuck_out_tongue:

    So awesome to return to Revolution Brewery. It has been a five month hiatus since pre West Coast February/March trip.

    Double Dry Hopped Mango Hero, 7.7% Imperial NEIPA. Not my typical style, but Revolution’s pours are most agreeable hazy pours among the large regional / national breweries.

    As with the other two breweries I hit, they are responsible, safe for all (staff and customers), and awesome. If only the bars and restaurants acted in the same manner.

    I believe @TheIPAHunter would have no regrets washing his hair with this one, or even drinking a few sips.

    USPS has been a shit show recently. Their flat rate boxes that usually ship in 3 days now take a minimum of 5. And right now a box that I sent to LNBA hero, @JayWhitson is still in transit. Not good. This would be the first box that I’ve sent that didn’t make it to its destination. I’m not hopeful, but fingers crossed.

    This just in! Our local beer bar just cracked their keg and offered it to-go in 16oz & 32oz sizes. (Bars still aren't allowed to operate, unless they are a "restaurant").

    Pliny 4 President - a DDH version of the 8% Pliny the Elder. It's exactly what it sounds like. PtE but amped up a notch. It's not mind-blowing, but an excellent WCIPA done right. And it tastes mighty fresh. Happy Friday, everyone!

    We're finally getting the soaking rain we've needed so badly. I'm starting the weekend with Twin Elephant's Toys in the Attic.
