What I have on-hand at the moment that comes immediately to mind...Cigar City Wedge Cut, Woodchuck Sippin' Citrus or Odell Peach Stand Rambler (for summer, always keep a couple sweeter options on-hand for the significant other and for me to sneak from time-to-time to throw the palate a curveball), and as raulmondesi mentioned yesterday Founders Pilsner.

I just bought Bell’s Two Hearted for under $20 a 12 pack and Founder’s Centennial for under $20 a 15 pack. Both are single hop beers using Centennial hops. Both taste great.

Honestly, I love everything they do. I can’t wait to get copper legend when it comes out.

To give American readers some perspective, I can get a sixer of Lagunitas IPA for $14.95 Canadian here in Ontario. That’s $11 U.S. and I will say that finding a drinkable 6x12 ounce pack for under the equivalent of $10 U.S. is quite difficult. In fact, that format is quite rare in Ontario for craft beer. More likely you’re buying 473ml cans in whatever multiple you want unless you’re buying something imported from the States.

    yeah, they're all very solid.

I literally just came home with a mixed 12 pack and can't wait to finally try the Shipping Out of Boston amber.

In the Chicagoland area, my picks are Half Acre Fader and Metropolitan Stromhaus. These have been frequent 6pk purchases this summer for me.

Under $10 is a little tough here now so I will use $11 as the cutoff, as some of these beers can cost $10.49-99:

    SN Summerfest
    Founders Green Zebra
    DFH Sea Quench
    Victory Classic Lager
Founders Solid Gold (one of the cheapest options)
Sterling Pig Shoat Pilsner (another one of the cheapest options near me and a fantastic beer)
    Sly Fox Helles

Okay I better stop now, as I am just starting to list the beers I enjoy not only in the summer but year round :stuck_out_tongue: Let me just say these two because I can only get them this time of year:

    SN Summerfest
    Founders Green Zebra

Just grabbed a 6 pack of 12.oz. cans for $8.99, I'll have one later.
I might have this mixed up with Red Tape but, I thought I had reviewed this Beer already.

    Cheers.

    Amen!

I can get this beer for $7.99 a six-pack. A great beer at an even greater price point.

    Cheers!

Victory calls it a sour tripel, but I don't taste the tripel. More tart than sour; granny smith apple, pear, almost ripe green grapes. It's a very good beer that could be improved by lowering the ABV

But I hear that you don't need as much when you're in the higher latitudes

To me it seems like I get value (and yes, I'm sure I average more than $1.67/beer) with the big regional guys like Sierra or Lagunitas.
